Robbie's phone number if anyone wants to give him a call, I hit pause when Carol was looking through her phone!

It seems everyone in Carrigstown is a psychiatrist.

Imagine, she gets the start with a huge promoter in London and her first assignment is in Carrigstown

Specifically, in Spar in Carrigstown! Nobody in Fair City needs the "Find my Phone" app- just turn up in Spar, Vinos or the Station and bingo!

She came back so soon I thought she forgot her keys.

Robbie’s hair is back to flopping all over the place.

That Aoife has barely left when she’s back again. She’s pretty sad chasing after a married man.

It will be great to have Cathal Spillane back, he is such a smug baddie and acts the part really well. Im just hoping that they have some better story line for him than that time Nora was spying on him for selling frozen meat that didnt have the Bord Bia quality mark.

How do they justify various characters who own their own premises that serve coffee going somewhere else for a coffee, even for take away! Hughie, Christiania, Robbie how often do we see them having a coffee in Vinos or the Community Centre or Spar getting a coffee? Maybe I could imagine them going to Vinos for a daycent coffee but why the Community Centre or Spar? Ah sure why the f*ck would anyone be in Spar that often.

Well today we found out why Robbie doesn’t drink coffee at home. He has only two mugs and they seem to be in the sink dirty!

Carol will probably sleep with him.
I actually think he'd make a cool daddy for jJack!

Did anybody else see that Coronation Street are dong product placement for Costa now.
Does Carrigstown need a Costa or Starbucks because it would do great trade!

I did said it was switched off. I blocked my number but maybe if you let your number shown the call will go through.

I remember I rang tommy number it was on a poster and somebody just shouts Tommy in his voicemail it’s really weird.

Ringing those numbers is what's weird

Why would you do that? You're either harassing an innocent whose number was randomly plucked from thin air to be used as a prop or you're harassing people trying to work on a show that you watch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,235 ✭✭✭Sparko

If they're showing a number on screen I'd guess they get a valid sim from one of the networks and use that number, and the sim sits in a drawer somewhere, rather than just using a random number and risking someone getting calls.

Well that's what I'd hope they do.

That's what they are supposed to do. Your not supposed to show any sort of a valid phone number on a programme of film. That's why all the American shows have stupid made up numbers

But I wouldn't put it past Fair City to be thick

well what would you call it? Why bother calling a number if you've no intention of communicating with the person at the other end?

It’s hardly harassing,I did it once, it shouldn’t be a valid no on tv anyway.

One call by a unknown number is hardly harassing.

Fair enough, maybe harassment is too strong a word....but I would give out to my 6 year old if he did this
