Two laugh out loud moments for me tonight. Paul looking so sorry for himself sympathizing in Spar with Carol and Jane saying about the rent to Carol :pac:
Was surprised Carol actually left, but I will be more suprised if they dont get back together.

Not sure what Kevin's story is and where the storyline will go with the three of them, Christiano plays the nice guy so wouldnt be the type to have an affair, but then again so did KerryAnne and it didnt stop her!

My sympathies are with young Jack. The kid'll be scarred for life.

Renee is back behind the till in Spar, obviously giving the silent extra with the red t-shirt a day off. That poor fcuker has been working without a break since November.
Considering that nobody has seen Renee since Christmas day, when Bob scuttered around with an engagement ring in a hilarious (!) display of FC 'comedy,' it was a teeny bit strange that none of the customers approached Renee and said "Jaysis, I haven't seen you in weeks. Where the hell were ya? How'd ya get over the Christmas?"
Renee could only have replied : "Ah, sure you know what it's like here in Carrigstown. One week you're the star of the show, going from restaurant to restaurant and pub to pub, walking the streets, drinking buckets of coffee and frowning all over the place. Then you go upstairs to get change, and for the next few months you're replaced behind the shop counter by a black-haired fella on a Job-Bridge scheme.
But that's what life is like in this place. Sure just ask Farrah, Deegan or Seán."

Miriam to Emmett, (in an almost empty Mountjoy) : " Yes, Emmett, you did all those bad things during the siege. But you only did them because you cared about people."
That's right Emmett. You tried to seduce Hannah, you ignored your family, you threw bricks at various people, drew graffiti on walls, sucked up to Oakley- Doakley, stuck bits of insulation tape on the mouths of the group (even the non-speaking ones) and threatened everybody with an odd-looking flare gun. But of course you only did those things because you cared.
Jaysis, Emmett, if that's the way you treat people when you care about them, I wouldn't want to see you in non - caring mode.

Hayley to Oisín : " My sister Harmony wouldn't go out with you if you were the last man on earth"
So that's sorted then. We're obviously in for a few weeks of a Harmony / Oisín relationship, probably with Callum acting the hardman and regularly threatening to kick Oisín's head in.
Isn't it great to see how the 'writers' come up with these new, fresh storylines on Fair City? How do they do it?? It's a mystery, but I suppose, in the end, talent always shines through.

Carol : "Robbie, I'm leaving you. You'll never see me or Jack again. And that's a promise."
Then, gathering what's left of dignity in one hand, and her sports bag in the other, she ushers a tearful Jack out the door and prepares to start a whole new life in a far-distant place.

I think she should grovel back to robbie and give him that " I'm moving back in Robbie, but I swear , if you ever do anything like that to me again, I will kill you!"

Carol is the biggest hypocrite on the show. She has had plenty of affairs herself and then she throws a strop and storms out just because Robbie made one tiny mistake. And after all he did for her the past few years, listening to her whingeing about her childhood then taking on her scumbag father to die in his house- hes a saint!

The sooner they cut Carol from this show the better, shes up there with Niamh as to how pathetic she is.
