Caught up on Player and am now (I think, but there is one thing that's baffling me) up to date.

Firstly: Re: THE CULT:

Emmet is banged up in jail while Oakley is in a hospital..... Makes no sense at all, as at no stage, earlier on, at least, did Oakley show any sign of mental illness, while it's clear that Emmet is all over the place.... After all; Oakley was the one who was responsible for the deaths of Hannah and Dan - not emmet who was just a brainwashed, and in the end, terrified lackey....

And there is also the fact that most people seem to have already gotten over the whole thing and most of the main players have seemingly disappeared, for the time being, at least. The neighbours aren't still going on about it, as they'd be IRL. Then again, it is FC, and I'm sure the actors involved in the whole Miriam/Oakley saga were due a break... I also have the suspicion that as Oakley is in ''hospital'' as opposed to prison that they don't plan on getting rid of him as a character, that, faithful to tried and tested - looking at you, Tommy Dillon - he'll be out and about back amongst the community before too long, whereas Emmet will likely become the fallguy...

THE CAROL/ROBBIE/AOIFE AFFAIR:

In no way do I approve of cheating, but Jaysus, when you put things in perspective, poor auld Robbie has been through the ringer since he married that yoke Carol.

He had to endure having her terminally ill abusive father, who permitted other men abuse her as a child, live with them in the course of his final weeks, then had to dodge Trigger's pathetic attempts on his life. So, in one way, I can't say I completely blame him. Then finding out that the woman you loved and intended to marry was raped by your best friend was sure to have done a number on his head.

And while on the subject of Carol, I think that horrible creature is the biggest hypocrite alive. Didn't she cheat on poor, decent auld Christy with Louis Gleeson? Didn't she cheat on Dan with Robbie? And what about all of the ping ponging back and forth between Dan and Robbie. Remember the time herself and Dan did the nasty in the back of the van after burning out a car/blowing it up.... And she did kiss him recently, before the s**tstorm began with the revelation of what he did to Aoife. (And she was into organised crime in her own right, and as my mam reminded me, yet again, had all her assets, confiscated by CAB, so FC writers should not be painting her as something of a ''poor, wronged martyr'' now.... She wasn't, as Mam told me, beyond framing Leo for the murder of her violent husband in order to protect her son, who, too, went down the gangster route and was no innocent, despite all her drunken crying and whimpering over him as though he was some sort of saint.....I hate Carol with a passion; I would love if she had been one of those blasted by Oakley's flare gun..

Initially I hated Damo for his unreasonable behaviour when Caoimhe first told him of her plans to go back to college, and thought him the biggest tosser alive. Then I went to feeling sorry for him, but now I'd love to blast him into outer space, he's so bloody annoying and OTT with all his paranoia and lack of common sense.

Jaysus, he only saw Saoirse a few days ago, she won't have changed that much, yet he's ranting down the phone to Caoimhe telling her to send him photos and videos, as she'll have changed.... And he was on the verge of hitting Laura, and got nasty as hell to the poor fella with the weird accent from work who was only trying to be helpful.....

HARMONY: Another pointless, OTT character, a Kerri-Ann with slightly more going on between the ears.... And as for Callum's interest in her; surely the lad would have more cop on....

KEVIN AND CRISTIANO: I didn't see that coming..... No one ever mentioned that Kevin was bisexual.... Wasn't he all into Karen a few days ago? I think they're trying to in some way replicate the successful (though I loathe them as a couple, as they're so ill-suited and make each other miserable, more often than not) Aaron/Robert/Chrissie storyline in Emmerdale...

Naturally FC's attempt will be a laugh a minute as the writers have no idea what they're doing....

TOMMY AND JACKIE: Have I missed an episode,because I was certain that Jackie had made up with Hughie and was still in a relationship with him, yet in almost every scene in which we see either Jackie or Tommy - much like Renee and Bob, the other one isn't too far behind.

That's the bewildering part for me. When did she break up with Hughie? Or did she And if so, then when did she get together with Tommy....?

The infamous brick is still my favourite character by a mile or more, though – just hope someone clatters Damo with it again, as it seems to always have him in its sights! :P

Why did Kevin and Cristiano go for lunch in vinos and then pop up in McCoys?. Plus if you work in a cafe ....brewsters....surely that is the busy lunch period. Plus the flowers were a petrol station version...i wouldn't be too impressed to get them if delivered.
