I hope Doug is in it tonight. Standing outside with his worried look on him and his neck going 90.

Your post just got me thinking of the sound Doug's neck would have made if it snapped!

Something that has me a little lost about the Ob'Briens house is. Katy/Eoghan were desperate to get into the house via the front door. They never bothered to go around the back where Damien parked his hire car. Did the Gardai mention the rear of the house?

Did Robbie go through The Pod attic, Paul would have keys, it is his house but no sign of him

MsWestori, great posts but hit the return key every now and then, its very hard to read your posts at times when you don't use paragraphs!

Was just thinking. James fooking Bond wouldn't have survived what poor Damo went through the past week. Sitting on his hole after it and moaning that he wanted to see Saoirse. Not a care in the world for the possible serious brain injury he could be carrying after brick attack II.....What a hard bastid is our Damo!

That's actually a good point, he got a fair few whacks with the brick of late and he just sits there with blood on his face and not complaining about massive blood loss or headaches. :p

Ah, no bother, sure it'll take me at least a decade to write it, if I'm to completely dissect each and every dropped plot, inane and insane storyline, and many a moment of amnesia by the FC writers, dating right back to when I first started watching it! :D

Hey could I ask a small favour when you write up your long posts could you just a blank line between some sections and break it up please

I want to read them as they are good but I have trouble trying to read tied together sections online :(

I bet Emmett comes out of this a redeemed character, even if he failed last night.

Hope it is not the case.

Just watched tonight's preview so will spoiler the rest of this. Apologies if i have a lot of spelling errors, i don't really know how to use spell check :(
Ok. Robbie is in the attic and has the high ground in the house, obviously. From a military point of view he is in control. Just has to stand to the side and hit Oakley coming upstairs. Or he can time his move coming down if Oakley is burning the house. Robbie is supposed to have military training and been under fire in Kosovo. I looked at the preview and said how the fcuk did Robbie end up tied up??!! Ok he's not too fit at the moment and Oakley is a wirey hoor. But surely Robbie would have some strategy for taking him out hearing what's happening below with Emmet/Oakley the petrol, Hannah etc.

I wonder if he has mental health issues. He has always been a loner and very erratic, long before the cult came along. Wasn't he considering topping himself at one point when Katy was missing?

Despite bizarre storylines, inconsistencies, poor acting etc Fair City is Fair City.

In it's own mad way i've enjoyed it and it's been and continues to be something to watch in the evenings. Post Christmas the whole Oakley/Miriam/Group saga has passed a few dark January evenings and one thing is for sure...we don't know what's going to happen next.

I'll say one thing though. Back 21 years ago a guy called Terrence, drug dealer, held Lou hostage and himself and Billy Meehan were the best baddies in the show IMO. Better that Paddy Bishop or Oakley. Terence was after Eoghan (gay kiss guy) and when he heard he wasn't coming back to the flat he stayed in with Lou the shriek that your man Terrence let out still stays with me! The actors real name was Terrence McMahon and he had a half American drawl to his accent and shoulder length brown hair.

Here's a pic from later years when he appeared in FC.. The taller guy. He had these mean squinty little eyes.

I think it was Ms. Westerosi who pointed out that Caoimhe's mouth is permanently open.

Imagine her going for a cycle on a leafy tree route in summer... She'd swallow some amount of midges..

Say she needs surgery to shut her gob..

Swallow midges ?? She’d swallow a whole bird with that mouth hanging open all the time !

Doctor Oakley is wasting his talents on that group of d*ck heads and mutes.
When Hannah crashed down the bottom two steps of the stairs, I heard a faint ccrrraaack!
"Uh-oh," I thought to myself, "there goes the screen of her mobile phone."
(neve leave your phone in your back pocket)
But Doc Oakley, thanks to his many years of specialised medical training, did not fall for such amateur reasoning .
With barely a sideways glance, he immediately reached a conclusion.
Without the benefit of X-rays, MRI or CAT-scans, or even a quick physical examination, he pronounced an immediate diagnosis, and declared, without any hesitation : "She's broken her neck."
And when you think about it, really, I suppose, that's why he's a fully trained, highly paid osteopath practitioner and surgeon........

    And I'm not.

Also, I was just thinking there, if Oakley or Emmett do fire that flare gun in anger, it may well do a lot of damage. But at least the Coast Guard will be quickly on the scene.....

Anyone else think Oakley looks like a Disney villain? All he needs to do is start twirling his moustache :D

They are trolling us with this.

Emmet had to lift one of the blinds panels to look out yesterday, the Garda said they spotted a man with a gun downstairs.

I'd say Fair City is up to a Red Level Warning at this stage..

That was the worst armed unit response I ever saw, one person with a gun who would not give confidence....
