I wonder what Saoirse Ronan would make of viewing a highlights reel of Jenny Dixon in action on Fair City over the last 4-5 years?

The only Hollywood Jenny has a chance of staying in long term is in Wicklow or Down:D

I always thought Decco should have being gay. They could have done a good story with him instead of Bob and his lesbians and Cristiano.

On the FC thread years ago there was speculation that Zumo night be gay

It's fairly obvious that hers will be the next big storyline. She's been in all the VIP type magazines, tabloids and Her.ie type websites. Radio with Ray Darcy and daytime chat shows. That's not just a coincidence.

She probably thinks that the TD might give her pull!

I just noticed that the gun Dr. Oakley had looks like the one in the game "Team Fortress 2" rofl

Her character is awful and one cannot gauge how good/bad an actor is with such a character. My main fault with FC is that there have been too many Kerrie Ann types in it just filling in time between the better stories. She ruined promising characters like Decco. I feel these 'whose baby is it' stories have been overdone nearly as much as the affairs that cause them in soaps. And one with KA centre stage will not be anything but poor. Decco should be caught between crime and his genuine attempts to get out of it akin to Love/Hate's Darren, and not caught up in a romcom story with KA.

Yeah thats true to be fair maybe i was a bit harsh:p

I feel FC needs to get rid of stupid characters like KA and silly storylines for filler. Jenny may well be a great actor but this will not be seen when she has a role like this and we will never know. FC is not the only soap to have silly stories. I gave up watching Coronation St because of stupid stories like the Les/Janice/Cilla one, the Square Dealers, etc. So FC is not doing anything the UK ones are not doing! Soaps in general should eliminate stupid, pointless or repeated stories. Affairs, whose baby is it, etc. are old hat.

Wonder does she put the skills she learned off Hugh Heffner on her CV?

I've seen better actresses in the "films" that would be associated with people like Hugh Heffner. :pac:

The hostage saga especially with Emmet and the fake toy red gun looked like a really bad spoof movie, I was waiting for one of the Wayans brothers to pop up

Prediction: Dan to go ahead with his plan and "jump" Oakley.

    Wheely Dan saves the day!

I'm surprised Tommy didn't volunteer to go into the attic.

That's why greasy told drunkard not tell anyone about him going into the attic, if the ram went in he'd feel at home immediately and probably go mad again and pull a gun on everyone :pac:

Who remembers the siege in Spar?

With Mr homeless guy? Who could forget! LOL!

I used to think Denzo myself - Deco and Zumo were both pure macho, at one stage a few years back, Decco was worse than Zumo; especially that time when Zumo used to hang out with Charlie Kelly a lot and did the prayer at his wedding to Esther (by the way, when is her funeral, and no real mention of her since) And Decco was, at the beginning, at least pro his dad and anti his mam, Zumo was on Vivienne's side, when the truth was known to him. :)

What I remember most about the Spar siege was Ellie getting in the way!

It was gas the way the police gathered in the pub to discuss the situation.. (face-palm) really shows how incompetent they are.

Anyone notice the 'silent' hostage sitting beside Hannah? She looked really fed up, not someone who was in fear at all.. :D

I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched tomorrow's preview on Player, but I'll say this one thing. Despite his faults, his manifold faults, Oakley is one mighty doctor!! :P Even though he hasn't gotten the gist of the Hippocratic oath, despite mentioning it to Emmet in tonight's episode; and forgotten the first part, namely, ''One; do no harm'', I want him as my doc now, provided he doesn't take me hostage with a toy gun and a s***load of petrol or break my neck! :P

Shouldn't they have emptyed the community centre and set up their base from there? Far better than being surrounded by people in various stages of inebriation, Collyflower. :D

Can't recall all the details, but I think she might have been... Maybe she threw one of her famous babyish tantrums, truth is, I didn't rightly remember it, until someone else mentioned it. :)

How it will all end..... Oakley doing the Oakley Cokey, twerking away to it in the attic, while the house burns.... That's no spoiler, just a genuine bit of daftness! Even if it did happen, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest! :P

Please, don't tell me you're referring to Kerri-Ann.... I might take a leaf out of Oakley's book (not) if that happens! :D :P

Jesus h Christ. Ladies and gentlemen. History has been made! That was the most ridiculous episode of any tv programme ever made. How did the actors agree to it? Imagine the shame if they ever watched themselves! I loved it, hilarious but Fair City is actually supposed to be a soap/drama not a comedy. Script writers and a director were paid for that! Is there any accountability? If that was any other network in the world that would be a call for cancellation. Does RTE have a director of programming? FC does NOT help actors, culture, the performing arts, talented writers. It's a joke and standing in the way of some decent programming.

    What a f@&ckin laugh though :)

Couldn't agree more.....And, sadly, we're the biggest fools of all paying a licence fee to watch the s***e that RTE churn out.....

Hopefully the brick will make a return!

The brick is my new favourite character..... :P

:D I doubt it, because Miriam will likely choose the outfit. Baggy blouse and a pair of black trousers, I imagine! :D

Neo-Nazis need Indiana Jones to deal with them, NOT Paul Brennan :)
The brick is my new favourite character..... :P

I wonder who will get hurt by the brick next or what soap it will turn up in? Has it featured In Eastenders yet?

My mother and a good friend of mine are not exactly fond of each other but they have one thing in common. DO NOT ring either of them when FC is on.

Guess who'll be putting his phone on "Hidden" mode around 8.13 and 8.27 tomorrow evening.

I did it to them a few times when the Katie story was peaking last year as well.
