Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice, I want to buy my boyfriend a good bottle of whiskey for Christmas.
He has been eyeing up Johnny Walker blue label for a while, I am seriously considering buying it for him but it is very expensive! The best price I have come across is £125 on Amazon but they don't deliver to Ireland, Can I use parcel-motel for alcohol?
I will be taking a trip up north in a few weeks, could I get a better price up there? I haven't had much luck trying to find out online.

Otherwise, do you have any recommendations?

You can't use parcel motel for alcohol. It's in their terms and conditions.

I used it once, got stung by customs. They let me off though, and said don't do it again.

You will not find JW Blue in normal off-licences; you would need to seek out a specialist in NI.

I dunno about that, If I had a particular one in mind and was dropping hints about it for the Crimbo that would be one I'd like.

You never know, maybe he prefers the Scottish style?

Now I'm sure he's still appreciate it, but may prefer what he's been looking at..

Unfortunately this doesn't include JW Blue but if I was having that much money spent on me and was new to whisky I think this would be tremendous fun for similar volume and money:
