I'm not happy with how Gilmore has done so far but it's a bit early to be calling him a bust here. I'm not saying I'm confident it will work out but it's often happened that the penny doesn't drop with a player until he has played about 10 games in the Patriots system.

What has made the Patriots great over the years is battling adversity and pulling put the win no matter what.

It's hard to believe after the start we have had that we will be tied for top of the conference with a win on Sunday and just a conference game away from no.1 seed.

With everyone in the AFC having lost 2 of 6/7 games, its looking plausible that a 12-4 record could be #1 seed.

The Patriots are the first team in NFL history to allow over 300 yards passing in their first 6 games of the season. The Falcons haven't been firing, so facing our dire defense should be a godsend for them.:(

At the 2 in the second quarter, most complete performance so far I think.

Our defense has shocked me tonight. I'll take more of the same for the 2nd half.

it's mad. how is it so often that such ordinary things that happen in games can get blown up to being some conspiracy once NE are involved. I thought Julio was more intelligent than that.

    Oh boy.
I saw the #Foggate and thought it was just a joke.
Then I see the comments by Julio. I mean, there’s conspiracy and then there’s plain idiotic!!

Seen friends pics from last night and the upper tiers could barely see the field the fog was that bad.

As for Julios nonsense about the smoke I hope those comments are fake because how dumb do you have to be to think that smoke made a difference. When the Pats fire those fireworks the smoke stays high up over the stadium and dissipates quickly even with all the moisture int he air it still would have dissipated

First time we played 60 minutes of football, or as Bill likes to say "complimentary football." The best performance by our secondary for some time and I thought Jones and Bademosi played very well at CB. My only gripe was the offense spent most of the first half giving up stupid penalties but apart from that, it was a good team performance.

This is what happens when you don't want Gronk Smashing you again. Pick by 23 and watch him avoid Gronk on the Cooks TD haha

So one of the radio stations I listen to they have a good rapport with Ninkovich and he is good friends with the show in the morning. They asked him would he come back this morning and he said that he didn't get paid a lot on his last contract and when comparing how much he got paid to potential injuries at his age he said it wasn't worth it. So safe to say he wont be back.

    Hi lads,

Do any of ye know how hard it is to get tickets to a playoff game should we make it (at home) - I read this morning that some go on general sale the first Friday of January.

Do any of ye have experience with this?

I'm looking at the Jets game too but hopefully that game could (again, hopefully) be a dead rubber and I'd like to see a game with something on the line. Jets game tickets won't be a problem.

    Thanks.

No general sale for playoff tickets really as they offer them to season ticket holders first and then those on the season ticket waiting list. Usually non left other than 1 here or there when they go on general sale.

Jets game will be easy to get tickets for seen as its NYE. Buy them the day before or day off on ticket sites and you will get them for close to face value

Gilmore out again today. Definitely something more than the concusion. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get traded at this point. The whole.thing is just odd.as fook.

A win is a win is a win.
But lucky the Chargers weren’t good enough to punish the Offense not converting and Gost (a major worry) having another bad day.

    6:2, but not convincing.

At this point we are all surely on the "Ok, its not great but at least we're winning and Bill will sort it down the stretch" train right?

    Right?

Offense looked bad and Hogan to have a MRI on his shoulder. We really need help at WR. I know people keep saying we are ok offensively but are we? Edelman used bail us out a lot and we just don't have that anymore.

Eagles hitting up Detroit to trade for Calvin Johnson's rights. Trying to get him out of retirement. Bill please do the same........

Defensively we looked a lot better and Harris looked really good today and made some good plays. Are we about to see the resurgence of Harris. I for one hope so. On a good day he is a solid player

The Bills game is looking like it could be huge right now. It could not only be for the divisional lead but for the conference lead as well. Bills are 4-0 right now in the conference.

    Wow... just wow.
That would have been unfathomable not so long ago
