Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Your season heading into GW9?....happy or not?

    Thought a thread to look at good and bad moves people have made so far this FPL season might be of some merit....and where they hope to go from here on.

    Ah the going into GW9 milestone... sorry to be a killjoy but there's surely no need for such a thread. There's a general chat thread.

    My GW1 team was

    Foster
    Bailly,Stephens,Lejuene,
    KDB,Salah,Zaha,Walters,
    Lukaku,Kane,Quaner.
    Subs- Elliot,Suttner,Mee,Carroll.

    Kept Kane for all of Aug...then sold him and missed his first good returns got him back on WC GW 7.Quaner proved a poor hunch pick:)

    Drifted out to OR of 2.5 k by GW 5!

    Took a few hits and then WC in GW7.Only lads I have had from start are Elliot,Salah,Carroll.Had a great return from WC which led to OR of 740k.
    Poor or unlucky Captain picks happened on at least 4GWs which has held me back a bit.
    My current team for GW9 is
    De Gea,
    Monreal,Jones,Otamendi,Ward,
    Salah,Dilva(C), Richarlison,
    Jesus,Kane (Vc) Vardy

    Elliot, Davis,Carroll,Mbemba.
    OR- 800k itb - 1.5m
    Am happy enough with current squad.Most players safe value wise and a few close to gaining me .1m soon.
    Biggest regrets so far selling Eriksen for Ramsey a few wks ago(don’t ask!) and keeping Kane for too long early on.
    Best moves,having Bailly early doors and de Gea after that and getting good returns from likes of Ward.
    I think it’s interesting to track how your team changes through the season.Hoping to finish the season in top 250k....busy at work and home so don’t have too much time to check likely price moves or players form this season.

    Take your point Parlance,but to be fair general chat thread only really deals with current issues,this is a chance for people to look at their respective seasons so far if they choose to do so;)
