Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

New Kilmeaden Speed Limits

    Have you seen the new 50 kph speed limits from the sweep pub halfway to the Holy Cross?
    Whats that about?
    Is it just to put the speed camera van location into a 50 kph zone?
    It's so stupid that no one is paying any attention to it.
    80 kph was fine there.

    Thought it was 80 passing there earlier heading in city direction...electronic sign I thought said 50, then after small bit saw 2 fixed signs saying 80,I was surprised with electronic 50 sign, but the two 80 signs are just gone in so guessed someone put the wrong electronic message in?

    They did the same thing in dunhill on the Tramore side 50km 2 miles before you come into the village

    Article coincidentally about a serious crash on cover of n&s in that area (holy cross)recently.no one died thankfully but looks nasty.

    Just reading about the accident that happened there, car upside down in stream,fella/legend called kelvin kearns, got in and saved trapped man, dramatic pictures in n&s, fair play kelvin.
