Can't understand why Fair City can't 'de-couple' Paul and Niamh. We all know they are lifers. But surely let them separate, and because they love them so much, make new storylines where they find new partners. It would at least make some common sense.

Paul and Niamh end up back in each others arm!

Jesus is that the best they can do some storyline!

Is Gina back from the dead in the middle of the dancer crowd? Or just someone very like her

Jesus, Bella is looking very shook I hope the actor is feeling ok. :(

Louie and Barbie spent the whole episode flitting from Vinos to the community centre and Carol was either at home or drinking/smoking in the Station! Does nobody work, its a Tuesday afternoon, what a silly time to hold a festival.

I love how Cathal has been tormenting Carol for months now and yet Carol has his number on her phone, as you do with the local scumbag!

Ive noticed a lot of the regulars dont post here anymore, shame as some of them were very funny. Maybe it was Paul and Niamh that did it. I cant even look at the two of them without thinking how pathetic they both are.

Niamh is hotter than a Mexican's lunch.

Who knew all Damien needed to sort out all his major anger issues and the fact that his girlfriend has left him and taken his baby away is a few hours in an Elvis suit?!? He didn't have a care in the world!

Why is carol giving Cathal more ammunition voluntarily?

Not a word, then again he still hasn't had a funeral for her. Seriously though, Paul and Niamh snogging. We all knew it was inevitable but it was very unpleasant to watch for lots of reasons. I know FC is a steady source of income for actors and fair play to them for availing of the work but have Tony Tormey and Clelia Murphy no pride.

After the total and pointless meandering mess that was the year long PLAN storyline, this is where we are at now with Paul and Niamh? It's honestly pathetic stuff.

And Robbie is all talk. He's always going on about bursting someone or ending them or that'll be the last thing they do etc, but he never actually throws a punch. He's always 'held back' by people.

As ever, FC lived down to our low expectations tonight.
We really should know better, and the worst part was that we all could have spent that half-hour watching a repeat of a classic episode of "Rosie and Jim" on BBC 3. It was the episode where Rosie and the Captain goes to buy..... Ah, no, I won't spoil it for ye.

Though in fairness I'm kinda glad I didn't miss the thrills in Carrigstown. Sure everyone knows that the best time to have a wild swinging party is on a Tuesday afternoon, in broad daylight, when, for some reason, the kids seem to have the day off from school, and nobody has any work to go to.
The entertainment was only mighty, with six cute line - dancers, none of them, God bless 'em, under the age of forty five , and an Elvis impersonater who looked like Daniel O'D on a bad hair day.
Head'n' Shoulders, you couldn't sing, you couldn't dance, you looked awful. You'll go far.... (the farther, the better)

And it gladdened this old heart of mine to see the kids applauding madly when Charlie made his farewell speech. I remember my children used to be the same, they would always be thrilled when an eighty-year-old gob****e took to the microphone and spoke about his long - dead first wife. (Fortunately, nobody reminded him of his second wife, which was just as well because even Charlie himself forgot about her years ago ).

Jaysis that Cahal keeps himself busy , doesn't he?
In tonight's episode he started off in the pub, from there to the hotel Louis is staying in, then to Vino's, then Caddle's place, and finished off his day by attending "The Beat in the Street' .
Or as some people call it," The Altercation outside The Station".

Niamh to Orla : "Paul and I are thinking about buying Vino's. It's a terrific investment."
It sure is, Niamh. Nowhere else in the city of Dublin would you find a finer platter of sliced tomatoes and processed ham. The blood -coloured decor alone is famous, so`tis...
And wasn't it heart-warming to see Paulio and Niamh exchange a loving kiss tonight? I bet nobody on this thread ever thought that would happen.
Fair City, where love stories begin......... And never fcukin end.

But at least, at the end of the show, I was very pleased that Charlie had found himself a good spot to watch the entertainment. I always say you'll never find a better viewing spot to enjoy a live show than dressed in your tuxedo and lying flat out on your back in the middle of the road.
    Heaven on earth, so 'tis!

I don't even know where to begin with that episode, absolute trash. It's like the writers just realised they had a ton of setup to do for the autumn and winter storylines and just immediately started them all.

Have missed loads of fair city over the past few weeks, but I caught sunday's episode and have a question:

Carol is shown in Vinos ordering a double espresso and in the next scene she's in the beer garden puffing away with a mug of coffee. Is the beer garden attached to Vinos?! I never realised.

Also, putting an old lady rheumatoid arthritis wrist splint on a little boy is so stupid! Is he supposed to have broken his arm? Plaster of Paris costs buttons and is easy to do, Jesus FC!

Seph, you don't remember Esther? Chawlie's wife #2?
One of the few citizens of this great country whose remains was never buried, cremated or even composted.
Like Homestore, in Fair City, when you're gone, you're gone.....

That episode, like the characters, was all over the place.
Was the Ball on in the middle of the afternoon? What happened to Mondo being led to believe Melanie and Kev were an item. He casually mentioned she couldnt make it to ball as her young fella hurt his leg.... ? Why were a handful of people in tuxedos and the other half dressed up in random fancy dress ? Why were the children not in school? Why were people not in work? An argument between two people breaking out and the music ground to a screeching halt. ? Not realistic at all.
So Paul threatened Bella with an increase the rent on vinos so he will just be landlord so and the day to day running of the business really will be nothing to do with him or Niamh??? So why was she sitting having a coffee and watching everything? That will be nothing to do with her. So who runs the actual restaurant? Is Yvonne still involved? How can you operate a restaurant from a remote location? Why would she bother to hold onto it? What has Bella got to do with any of it?

Damo as Elvis. I would like to unsee that.

Would you believe i had a nightmare last night with Damien in that Elvis suit.. It was surreal. He was shouting 'where's my baby' over and over and i woke up, it was around 4am.

I never dream about something on tv. The Exorcist, The Omen etc never bothered me. I must be over tired or something.

Haha... like that one. Although may not be factually correct these days.. Did Robbie and Carol not take a cab from The Station to The Hungry Pig the other day?? Maybe the pedestrian crossing lights were faulty and they were putting safety first..

He was fairly handy with a hurl tonight and gave Carols dad a good kick to the head
