Just back from Bavaria with Frau Bild and the kids for few days.. Nice break. Greetings to all!

    Wow! Major changes..

Poor sweet, Kerri Ann looks like will get back on track with Decco. Owen and Debbie look like reuniting.

Melanie stuck up B*tch as work colleagues would say. Mondo gormless but has changed for the better as a character.

Way to go Katy!! Sly, slime ball Oision exactly in right position. She needs to torture him properly. Hope she remembered to take his mobile phone. Again unbelievable how he can't smash window with furniture and shout onto street so on.

Cult really has progressed. Phoenix Way global. Camera lingering on deeper thoughts of the Miriam.

I wouldn't be pushing melanie away if she was trying too give me a kiss ;).

You should NEVER kiss people with that bloody name.

'What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet' ;)

And i'm not talking about the 'Rose' from Fair City!

I think I have accidentally slipped into an alternative universe - Fair City was good tonight. KT/ Oisin was really well done. Greasy/Caddle/Nora all smiled. Decco/ KeriAnn talking to each other.

Oisin had better have a strong bladder! And where did Katie get those cameras from?

Charlotte didn't take much luggage with her to Spain. One small handbag. Michael O'Leary will be delighted with her.

Is there no window in that room Oisin is in? Jesus a man his age could easily kick his way theough a bedroom door! Saying that Emmet and Eoghan combined couldn't!

Eoghan if you want KT out of Ciaran's apartment just ask a few pertinent questions. Who the funk owns it? A dead man? Who is paying the rent/mortgage? Who is paying the electricity? How the funk would anyone get that signed from Ciaran's into anyone else's name? So Ciaran had zero relatives, no cousin, aunt, uncle anyone? Did they really need to get the value out that set? So is Farrah now living alone in the other 3 bed house Ciaran had a lease on?

Is Cathal connected to Miriam in some way? Watching the last 2 episodes there now and noticed how Miriam and Cathal acted when they met. There seems to be some connection between them?

Interesting revelation from Miriam this evening : 'Phoenix Way' is an international organisation. I'm speculatively guessing it could be a money making racket dressed up as a self improvement outfit.....perhaps they induct people and then after a few months or longer get them to start handing over large sums of money, on the pretext of self empowerment or getting rich or whatever. Maybe some form of pyramid scheme with Miriam further up the chain and pocketing lots of dosh for herself.

I missed that. She had it all planned so? I'm surprised she had it in her.

I wonder does Oisin get the flat once he's released - I think that's how it works.

I agree with previous posts, can't get over Oisin not battering that door down or shouting from a window! The neighbours in that place don't seem to be very observant anyway.

Niamh, Orla and Cass still showing no interest in Juliet and vice versa.

I presume they're lining up Bob to join Pete in being part of the few to see through Miriam. The potential Cathal link is interesting, will be watching out for more interaction between them. Might have just been a convenient chat so he was near Carol but we'll see.

As De Bild said, break the glass with furniture. He wouldn't shoulder or kick the door down. He's a very weedy build. I've a 7 year old nephew stronger than him!

Im half agreeing with you about the money making thing but then it doesnt make a huge amount of sense to target so many people and in such an elaborate way as Charlie Manson has been doing just to rob a few thousand from these people then flee in the night.

She is running workshops on holistic therapy, counselling etc and making a big effort to get to know the locals, who is and who isn't vulnerable, she really seems to be trying convert people to a certain way of thinking, and the fact that Phoenix Way is international (or so she says, I'm sceptical of that), and there was no history of it here is very clever, means that nobody can research it and see reviews etc.

It seems to be going down a dark road, and kudos to FC for this, the pacing of this cult story has been spot on. Every episode now they are closing up on Miriams face and its chilling, there is no warmth behind her smile. Plus the fact shes a local businesswoman (manager of Arcade), nobody would suspect her of having hidden motives.

    Very interesting.

Well, Emmet is hardly rolling in it for starters. Not much point targeting Paul either

My first thought when hearing that it is an international organisation is that it could be a pyramid scheme, people conned into handing over large amounts of cash so that the higher ups in the group like Miriam become rich. But it could also be some form of pseudo-religious or New Age cult with other motives apart from simply making money.

If Miriam has anything to do with trying to con people out of cash what are the chances Wayne will lose everything?

Yes, absolutely they could be going down that road. Its the unknown nature of it that makes it so interesting. FC researchers also know that in this modern world of ours, religion is such a personal thing and there are so many of them out there, that a simple religious cult is not realistic these days so they could be exploiting this whole huge craze with mindfulness and alternative therapies these days and using it to brainwash people into thinking that some idealistic "leader" of this movement (either Miriam or, I suspect, a higher authority) is their new God and push members towards crime or worse.

    The fact that
Charlie Manson pays Katy a visit next week and encourages her to go to her "retreat" in Donegal
    is very odd behaviour.

We will have to wait and see!

I thought the same, really good scenes between KT/Oisin and bonus points for not having a sign of Paul or Niamh. Seriously WTF are they going to do with that pair. More affairs, businesses, money issues, random kids by various mothers.......oh no wait, that's all been done. Other than having Paul join the priesthood or Niamh a convent there is nothing left for them.

I do not know a single school where such a skirt would be permitted.
