Can you pick your team now, or when is it open to do so?

    It's not open yet.

10.5 is bang on what I expected for Jesus. His output at the end of last season showed he can cut it in the PL although he hasn't come up against any top team yet.

Not buying the hype on Jesus yet, any time I watched him last season his all round play was pretty poor. Reckon he'll at best split time with Kun.

    10.5 is a price I'd pay for a 100% nailed striker

Yea he can perform and do well but Sane offers better value and Pep seems to like him a lot

Can't see why they would increase the budget just so they could increase the value of players, makes absolutely no sense.

I think it will just be more difficult this year to have a lot of 'big' players. We've been spoiled the past two seasons.

Milner & Moses both 6.5m defenders now.

    Firmino a forward.

    Brunt a mid

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,671 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

Alexis stays in midfield and Alonso stays as a defender.

    James Milner: MID to DEF

    Trent Alexander-Arnold: MID to DEF

    Victor Moses: MID to DEF

    Sam McQueen: MID to DEF

    Ahmed Musa: FWD to MID

    Chris Brunt: DEF to MID

    Modou Barrow: FWD to MID

    Roberto Firmino: MID to FWD

    Joshua King: MID to FWD

    Jay Rodriguez: MID to FWD

He had to once Moses was.

    He'll be 7.5 IMO.

Relative bargain if he stays up top

Lots of mouths to feed there, especially with Salah now in the mix.

Hang on, so this new chip is basically a get out of jail free card for not pre-planning for the DGWs?

Although it does allow for using the wildcard more liberally when needed over the course of the season.

I might actually use this chip unlike the AOA last season :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,279 ✭✭✭-=al=-

Yeah it's almost like a weekly wildcard punt

They are slow enough opening the game aren't they, week commencing July 10th you'd expect for it to be open by now

Not really. We are only 2 and a bit days through a 7 day week - assuming they haven't hit any problems since they announced the initial date.

What did I tell ye lads! #ScorpionKnowsBest
My guess would be Wednesday afternoon. I highly doubt they're launching this on the 10th and Wednesday seems an ideal time with it being 30 days before the new season gets underway.

Kurt Zouma is in talks with Stoke City and West Brom about a possible loan move away from Chelsea. (Sky Sports)

James Milner could be great value there if Liverpool somehow tighten up.

Some big choices coming up this year.

I agree, think I'll initially start with United defence given the price is right, Lindelof maybe and Azpi if he is moved to RWB, Milner is v tempting tho
