    If anyone is around for a spin through north Wicklow to remove any cobwebs the weekend before Terenure, the Leinster Motor Club have their annual veteran vintage & classic car rally on June 25th. Open to all cars up to 1991.

    63rd VETERAN, VINTAGE & CLASSIC CAR RALLY
    SUNDAY 25th JUNE 2017

    The 63rd Leinster Veteran, Vintage & Classic Car Rally will be a 1 day event, starting at "The Goat" Taney Road, Dublin 14.
    We will drive through County Wicklow for approx 60 miles.

    Although there is a competitive element to the event the emphasis will be on enjoyment and fun, while the more serious minded can concentrate on the navigation and maintain an average speed as per their class.
    The winner on the Road Section will receive the Dudley Colley Memorial Trophy.
    The less serious minded competitors can follow the route at their leisure and enjoy the ambience along the way. The Concours section of the event will be judged by the competitors using their Voting Cards.

    This year we would like to place special emphasis on modern classics up to 1991 as a way of reaching out to the next generation of enthusiasts and to extend our appreciation for classic motoring.

    START - Cars will assemble at 10 a.m. Sunday 25th June at "The Goat" where scrutiny will be carried out and Final Instructions issued. The first car will depart at 11.00a.m. and thereafter at 1 minute intervals.

    REFRESHMENTS - Competitors are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds of Avondale House, Rathdrum or alternatively refreshments can be purchased from the Coffee Shop there.

    FINISH/PRIZE GIVING - In The Glenview Suite, Glenview Hotel, Delgany, Co. Wicklow @ 5.30pm

    All,

    Entries are now open for the LMC Veteran Vintage & Classic Car Rally.

    Emphasis this year is on younger classic vehicles with anything up to 1991 qualifying for entry.
    We would really like to see a good cross section of vehicles turn out to promote our interest among the next generation of enthusiasts.
