    Hey,

I am currently in 1st year of Computer Applications in DCU but my heart was really set on going to Trinity to study Computer Science but I didnt manage to get the points. Im just wondering has anyone got any experience with this where they have switched into Trinity? Is it possible? or would I be better resitting my LC?
Thanks for any and all help!!

You need the CAO points for the course you want to switch to so you'd have to resit the LC or complete your degree and apply to TCD as a mature student

You could complete first year and then apply to transfer.

As per the section on applying to 2nd year of a similar course, you still need to meet the entry requirements & points for the course

You do not need to meet the points you must only achieve minimum entry requirements and a 2.1 or first
