Great on the par 5s again.
Par, birdie, birdie, eagle for 4 under on the par 5s.
Hope he can keep it going tomorrow now.

Finished on -2 and is just inside top 30 in the Valspar. Should earn him about $40k to bring season total around $250k. Another good tournament for him.

Good to see him make the cut in Texas with two level par rounds

He is teaming up with Steven Alker in this weeks PGA tour event. I was hoping he would have been able to get a more high profile partner.

They are currently T19th, so going nicely!

Pity, just missed cut by a shot

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,076 ✭✭✭billy3sheets

Looks like Power got all the birdies and Alken got none.
That could be down to tactics as much as skill though too.

He's off to a good start today. Fingers crossed for a good week!

Great round of golf there from Seamus, very difficult conditions. Can't see him too far off the lead when everyone finishes.

+5 today. Bogey bogey finish to finish on Even. A day he'll want to forget.

At least it wasn't Sunday, he still has tomorrow. If he can put in a decent shift tomorrow he will go a long way to keeping his card. Plenty to play for.

That's the third time he has got into contention and fell away but it's all part of the learning process. It was tough watching him on the 4th it was a real mess and he was rushing shots . His putting Is generally good but iffy off the tee.

Or possibly he just didn't play to the best of his ability on the day

Did I upset you? Might have had something to do with the fact he was out in the last group...

No joy for Seamus today in qualifying for the US open . Finished well down the field . But the field was very strong, it was like a pga tour event

Decent 1st round of -1 for Seamus at the St Jude Classic.

Good cheque this week for joint 27th with 3 others (including Graham McDowell).
Good recovery in final round when he finished 2 under for the last 13 after being 3 over for the first 5 holes.

Had him backed for a Top 20 finish.:(
Needs to eliminate the 1 bad round, often the 3rd round.
