Srameen, adopt me. I feel like we'd be good eating companions (except for liver).
I haven't had anything to eat yet today but am contemplating a Chinese or Thai

I'd starve if there was only Chinese or Thai. One of my problems, when I was travelling the world, was getting 'proper' food.

Oh Lord! You have put the longing on me. I'll have to check the freezer tomorrow and see is there any of our rhubarb left from last year. (Had to dig up the plants to make room for other stuff since :()

All the shops have it now so you should be able to buy it. The bunch I got is nice and ripe too.

That would go against the grain. I love rhubarb but in my 73 years I have never bought a stick rhubarb. We always grew it. But I gave some plants to the kids over the years and will harvest their's next week. A few sticks from each of them. Chop it up. Bag it. And in to the freezer.

Consider yourself mightily blessed! The house had not been lived in so that cylinder was very tightly attached. Been on for literally years.. Could not even get it off, BUT WD 40 did with total ease...what wonderful stuff..

Sunday breakfast of smoked bacon, two fresh pullet eggs I bought at a village Post Office, and bread. Coffee ...

My lovely man made me a delicious curry for lunch but am starving again. It is almost time to munch again.

I've been burned by a stupid recipe for banana pancakes and so has my non-stick pan.

It's my own fault. I'm lazy and was seduced by the promise of 2-ingredient "pancakes" (banana and egg). What could go wrong?

I think the pan is a goner and I'm left with something resembling a banana omlette.

Just to add some balance to all your lovely meals.

Just finished making the stuffing for the pork fillet. So, in to the oven it went and a nice bottle of Bordeaux has been opened in expectation.
