    Granola, milk, and IRISH strawberries!

Got far too excited in the supermarket yesterday when I found them. To the point the nice fruit and veg man heard me going "oooooooh irish strawberries DEADLY" and told me they were just in this week and they're the first harvest and they're lovely.

    State of me.

Fried egg sandwich on honey and spelt bread with ketchup, coffee.

A fried egg sandwich, can't beat it. Hope it was nice and runny spilling out the side of the bread.:D I had a fried egg on fried bread this morning. Very bold. Ham salad sandwich on brown for lunch. Can't wait for dinner which will be a late one.

Gonna have dinner now. Pork steak, mash, roastie, stuffing, peas and carrots. Smothered in gravy with a glass of bainne. Listening to Depeche Mode because another thread reminded me of a great few months in 1993!

    8am: 1/2 a bagel slim, 1 turkey sausage, 1 egg, coffee
11am: apple with peanut butter, coffee
1pm: spelt pasta, chicken, mushroom, onion and creme fraiche
    4pm: 2 mandarins
6:30pm: chicken and prawn paella with chorizo, coffee
9:30pm: fruit smoothie, homemade beetroot brownie, tea

I think I drink too much coffee some days, but I can't really do without it tbh

Just scoffed some fried potatoes worth onion, green chilis, tomatoes and cheese. My cleaner arrived while I was cooking and looked at the spuds and laughed. Probably thinking "typical Irish with your spuds".

She eats curry for breakfast. Stereotypes much? Don't judge me.

I go to awful trouble trying to think of exciting sandwiches each day. But I just came from my mam's, after scoffing off some crusty bread, fresh ham and a stripe of mustard. She had it all figured out decades ago.

Made myself some Hakka noodles with garlic, ginger, mixed hakka spices, onion, aubergine and a wee chili that nearly blew the mouth off me.
