Had Costa captain plans for the last fortnight but have chickened out and not bought him without confirmation he'll play 90mins.

    Lining out:

Question mark on GKs until the morning

    Forster/Jaku

    Alonso-Vertonghen-Pieters

    Alexis-Alli-King-Mane

    Aguero(C)-'Big Handome'-Andy Carroll-Lukaku

    Bench:
Forster/Jaku, 'Little Handsome' Tom Carroll, Evans, Holgate,

WC active, against my best intentions.

    DDG
    Alonso Davies Bertrand
    Sanchez Alli Redmond Zaha
    Costa Lukaku Vardy (c)

    Pickford, Fabio, De Roon, Holgate

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,282 ✭✭✭✭ArmaniJeanss

    0/1 FT.

    Pickford.
    Mee, Pieters, Alonso(c).
    Grosicki, Siggy, Mane, Coutinho.
    Aguero, Costa, Lukaku.

    (Grant, DeRoon, McAuley, Amat).

Late decision on FT of Coutinho -> Alli, probably leave it in the lap of the 'wake up in time' gods. May change Alonso(c) as well, though like to do this sort of thing once a season. Grosicki in last chance saloon for the 3rd week running.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,262 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

    Mane/Sanchez/Siggy/Sterling
    Costa/Lukaku/Negredo

Not sure who to drop from my front 8

    Siggy Mané King Alli Sterling
    Llorente Lukaku Costa

King is the obvious choice but he's in such good form right now. Wish I still had my AOA chip. And as for a captain who knows? FFFix says Mané. No chance mate. Been burned before. Thinking Siggy. Or bring in Kun for Costa for a -4 and stick the armband on him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,959 ✭✭✭Trimm Trabb

    De Gea

    Valencia Walker Yoshida

    Siggy (vc) Alli Mane Coutinho

    Costa (c) Llorente Lukaku

    Subs: Tom Carroll, Robertson, Baines

Few close calls for selection but this is what I've got at the moment.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,585 ✭✭✭Cartman78

    -4 as usual....

    Heaton

    Brunt Azpi Vertonghen

    Mané (C) Alli Ayew Siggy

    Carroll Costa Lukaku

    Subs: Foster Barkley Smith Amat

Still not 100% on Brunt ahead of Smith....would be handy if he rediscovered some of his attacking prowess this weekend.

It's all down to Ayew really....yes...I'm that desperate :-)

If I bring in Kun I'll bench sterling but feel like I need City cover as Arsenal have Ospina in nets. Who are you captaining?

    Siggy at the moment
Brought in vardy with intention of captaining him but just don't trust him enough
Siggy almost guarantees a minimum of an assist at home and any points always gain him bonus too
He loves bonus and I love him
    :D

    Jakupovic
    Alonso - Robertson - pieters
    San(c)hez - mane - alli - siggy
Llorente - lukaku - aguero (vc)

Heaton - mc cauley - fletcher - funes mori

Banked transfer as I want to try get ibra back in and it may require 3 transfers so having 2ft will help. Also want to see if Holgate comes in as cheap replacement for funes mori.

For me, I'd bench one of your Spurs players - IF Spurs don't score, you've (maybe) 4 points between 2 players (6 if Spurs keep a cleanie, assuming no yellow cards). I generally avoid doubling up on attackers or defenders from the same club to avoid scenarios like that.

I went with my gut and swapped king for llorente plus there was some chatter on FFS about his fitness.. I hope he doesn't April fool me

    Pickford
    Alonso Davies Pieters
    Sanchez Mane(c) Pedro Siggy King
    Aguero Lukaku

    Heaton Llorente Holgate Pva

Mane gets the armband, it could have been any number of them.
Heaton gets a well earned rest, and Llorente drops to the bench.
Always nervy of having captain playing in the early game, not out of superstition, more that if he doesn't score, the nerves are frayed for the rest of the weekend

    Schmeichel

    Alonso/Valencia/Mawson.

    Alli/siggy(c)/lanzini/king/coutinho

    Aguero/lukaku

    Jaku/walker/a Carroll/pva(injured)

Mane to Alli for -4? Good luck with that.

I hear what you're saying but I can't decide who to bench. They seem to take it in turns to out perform each other
