    Ireland - Iceland

    BTTS 11/10

Iceland have seen this in 18/23 last away friendlies....

Gives me an interest in the game for the 90 minutes anyway.

    Good luck all.

Well if Ireland were there for another 90 minutes they wouldn't score. Woeful stuff.

    Holland - Italy tomorrow....

Italy @ 2.7 is good enough for me.

Robben left the squad. Not that he was going to play that one anyway

    1-2

Hardly going to win against Italy in the current situation when you have never won against them in a friendly

6 draws, 8 losses after today.

I was following the game on Bet365 for the last 20 minutes, Italy dodged a bullet when you take the Netherlands' 9 corners into account! :pac:

Argentina VS Bolivia: Argentina to win

Morocco VS Tunisia: Morocco to win
Holland VS Italy: Holland to win (unsure about this)
    France VS Spain: BTTS
Cameroon VS Guinea: Cameroon to win

    Odds of almost 70.

Knew this wasn't going to work but I managed to cash out @approximately evens just before Italy scored their first goal. :)

Was all pretty harmless till Sneijders 2 shots and Vilhena's deflected one.
1 thing is sure though... Italy has no goalkeeper worries the next 2 decades.

So...I guess Italy should be a dark horse pick for the 2018 World Cup?

    World Cup Qualifier
    Peru v Uruguay
Bet: Both Teams To Score & Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.25 William Hill
    Estimated Win Percentage: 53%

    2-1

It's not been a good international break for Uruguay but after betting on and watching both of brazils games they have become the favourite for me. Paraguay tried every trick in the book to stop Neymar & Co and couldn't deal with the pace and passing. Best Brazilian team in a long time at a time when the European teams are not as competitive as the last couple of world cups.

Yes, after 5 matches or so they were quite a bit away from the qualifying places.
And now they are more or less qualified. 11 points in from of no 5 with 4 matches to go.
Chili should make it in the top 4, hopefully before the last matchday as they will be away to Brazil then.

Might have Argentina or Uruguay having to do the play off thing.

Cant judge from last nights team. 7 changes compared to the one that beat Albania.
It was typically Italian though. You think you are better or at least equal but in the end they will beat you.
Holland looked a bit better than against Bulgaria. Especially on the bench now that ugly mug of Blind wasnt there.

I wasn't sure about Neymar up to now as looking at the from the typically 'English' style of football I thought he couldn't cope with a well organised physical defence but he is an expert at getting free kicks in dangerous areas and his delivery from set pieces and free kicks is incredible. I was looking at the system Brazil were playing and trying to come up with an effective counter strategy and I couldn't. They have too many weapons in their arsenal and they can come at you from any angle and can switch the play in a heartbeat. Their defenders are very impressive and you can't get at them often with direct play and they are very good at defending set pieces. Every time Neymar got the ball last night a Paraguay defender took him out immediately, Couthinho was getting elbowed in the head, the fouls were done strategically closer to the halfway line than the box and Brazil still found a way to dominate the game and win 3-0 and isolate the Paraguay attackers quickly when they managed to start a counter. Genuinely in awe, we will get to see a golden generation again. I'm less and less convinced with Firmino as he looks impressive but the end product is not there as often as I would like for a top class Brazilian international but there are options elsewhere. I'm excited to see what Gabriel Jesus can do if he gets an extended run in the Man City team.

Thursday march 30th is going down in history as about the only day ever that nog a single post was made here.

Thank **** that international break is over. it is already hell when there are actually matches on but the Wednesday and Thursday in that break are just plain horrible.

I deserve the "all overs in the Jupiler" to come in today.

    7fold @ 34.7
Left Oss out. **** odds and had a change of managers a couple of weeks ago. 1 match under him had only 2 goals.

Most bookies are giving better than evens. Every little bit matters.

Nice odds, only around 25 on pp and 29 on bet 365.
Think I will get on it as well, I'd hate to miss out when it comes in after backing it so often!

In all but 2 matches the odds have gone down in that 7 fold.
    I did it on bet365

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 889 ✭✭✭JonnyM

Got on that 7 fold earlier for just under 32s on bet365.
