I'll probably go Alonso.
I know I'm in the minority here on captaining defenders though.

I never captain defenders, but I'm considering him as well.

I probably gave the most serious consideration into captaining a defender ever this week. I don't recall ever having done it. The fact that Palace have seriously tightened up at the back puts me off. I think Chelsea will sneak this, but there won't be many goals. Very good chance of a clean sheet though, but I'm going to take my chances on Mane ripping it up against a depleted Everton defence.

Drifting from Costa towards Mané.....not sure how much my Liverpool supporter tinted glasses are driving this decision

wow, very surprised at how low Sanchez is on the poll. City have been atrocious at the back all season. I'm not saying he's the stand out choice, just surprised he's so low.

Champions League aside, they have been a lot more solid in the couple of months. Dropping Bravo seems to have made a big difference for them, having said that, I'll be going with Sanchez

I will be too, I mean it's Sanchez! no real stand out choices this week, Mane and Alli came in for consideration as did Aguero but if whether I get it right or not, it was fairly easy for me to pick Sanchez.
