Ploughing into a pack of Cadbury Chocolate Chip Cookies. Havn't had Cookies in aaaaaaaaaaaaages. Never buy Cadbury brand but they're pretty damn nice. Must see if I've any Ice Lollies / Ice-creams in the Freezer. Might make a trip to Supermarket to get a box of Tangle Twisters or LooptheLoops if I don't have any.

Didn't really get the chance to post much from Mother Russia. Back on Irish soil now. Fave's from the last week are pickled cabbage, beetroot, pork in batter, incredible shallow fried potato strips, poached eggs like parcels with mayo and crispy bacon. Salads everywhere I went were fantastic. However I drew the line at Herring for breakfast.

Not what Im eating NOW, but what I ate this week! Tonight, its a dirty disgusting chinese takeaway. Tomorrow I get back to cooking. Russian/Baltic cuisine is actually very good. I have some recipes worth trying.

Last night hit the new chocolate reserves.... Needed CHOCOLATE... YOU know! Tried the milk from Aldi , then a really chunky wispa bar that hit the spot. I bought a multi pack to but left the rest downstairs, knowing myself well.. wispas are serious chocolate..

Strawberries, grapes, watermelon. Glenisk vanilla yogurt. Granola.

Wasn't meant to eat it at 4.30 but had tea and wanted something with it.

Feel like such a mad bastard now.

Had the most insipid tomato and cucumber sandwich with a chili relish that I could not taste. All eaten on the non-dentist mutilated side of my mouth. Had nothing to eat all day and it's almost 3.30 here.

I didn't sleep last night so had sugar cravings this morning. Went to avoca and picked up a fruit scone. Went to pay and saw bakewell slices instead but sure there were no gloves so I had had to pick up the scone so couldn't put it back. Got to work and realised the bakewell slice would feed a family of four. Nonetheless, over the past three hours, I've been cutting off little pieces of it - just one more piece - and now it's gone. In my belly. I'm so full. And I have loads of food with me. There was absolutely no need for me to get it.

Anyone want an avoca fruit scone? My hands are mostly clean.

A sandwich of leftover roast lamb with some mint sauce and cold gravy poured on the meat. Sounds disgusting but it was surprisingly tasty. :pac:

Currently eating a meatball sub with marinara sauce, some shredded lettuce and white cheddar on top with a massive mug of tea. I am starving, can't eat it fast enough.

Had a good food evening, finally back on track with the healthy eating and have a batch of lunches to keep me going for a few days at least.

Dinner was peri peri chicken with baby potatoes and stir fried broccoli and cauliflower. Breakfast will be an egg-white scramble with pitta and I'll spend the day dodging all the baked brownies and cupcakes that my colleagues will have made for the charity bake sale.

always .. strange.. coming online early to read all your evening feasts.. Maybe a hot cereal morning here as wind is howling and weeping. Cats have eaten; self catering clearly or was it.... takeaway! ( think a rabbit part..) Put me right off...
