That is why cash out was requested by punters and the bookies acquiesced and introduced it as a business plan to ensure that punters could take more off their profits. Right???????

Wong.... cash out is not a friend of any punter and by doing so you will lose in the long run.

Delighted for the lad.... thank **** cash out was not an option.

Just my opinion... I have no problem with a cover bet for stake return and so forth but why cash out of a winning bet?

    Edit: Wrong*

Considering the stake size and bet type someone should explain to him how to cash out and get whats likely to be more than a months salary.

    )

He did the bet with a friend, a young girl and they do these kinda bets regular together I'm told
    how sweet is that :)

they wouldn't take home 6k in three months on days where I work

Well you're kinda stating the obvious there.

Cash out obviosuyl wouldn't be there if it resulted in a loss for the bookie. Bookies always win.

Hence Paddy Power Kicker Bets etc. The sheer amount of research that goes into these before actually introducing them is phenomenal in such a way that the profit margin will be in the bookies favour but also allowing the punter to win irregularly.

    What is your point ?

I will say this again... cash out options will never benefit a long term punter who has belief in his/her selection(s).

    How would it????

What is a kicker bet? I will hazard a guess it is an option for punters to increase the stake for less than a value return....

    Just a hunch

I agree cash out bets are bad value but that wasn't the point in this particular example.

The bettor should always look at the last leg of an accumulator before placing the bet and remove it if they are not comfortable with the stake that may be staked on that leg and so on until they are comfortable and more realistic.

In this case an inexperienced bettor found themselves in a position that the cash out amount that may have been offered was equal to a few weeks of work and in that case it might be better for him to cash out for a bit less than the current odds imply because he should be risk adverse in that situation.

I'll put it another way... Choosing not to cash out when the option is available is exactly the same thing as walking into a bookies and placing €3,500 on a bet.

Clearly this particular kid should not bet that much and he might not even have that much to place the bet so now the cash out option is no longer simply about value and more about common sense.

Cash out would have saved me last night- I had Chelsea to win, WH not to score. Fecken 92nd minute!
BetFair give much better odds when cashing out.

Going for Bayern to score before half time- 4/6

Olympiakos - Besiktas would normally already be good for a few cards but the UEFA also appointed Makkelie as the referee.

What do people think of Barca to win their game and Dortmund to qualify? 1.41/1. Thinking of putting a decent stake on it.

Zero value and Barca may well fold against PSG.

Not the worst bet this week. Has a fair chance of coming off. Wouldn't be quick to include next weeks games.

Cakir is the ref for Napoli v Real Madrid and averages 5.5 cards/game, and Betway offer the best under/overs at 4.5 cards @17/20. The problem is wondering if Napoli can close the 2 goal deficit and force Real into some mistakes. :/

Sidiropoulos is the ref for Arsenal v Bayern and averages 4.8 cards/game, and the over/unders line is 3.5 on Bet365, but this is pretty much a dead rubber game and I don't see Bayern's players risking a suspension for the quarter-finals.

I don't even want to imagine what the odds were for the exact same scorelines in the second leg as the first in both games tonight!
