Unfortunately we had a bit of a meat shortage in the house, only two pork chops in the freezer and my man needs more than one. I'm actually quite full. I'd usually have a full pork chop though.

Aw. Thats so nice! My missus would do the same. I'd have to get at least a pork chop and a half!

It's not for mashed potato though. It's for the coating on the chicken.

Was watching a cooking segement on NHK news earlier (funny old channel its like ear to the ground in Japan) and got the taste for something Asian so made up a chicken schezwan noodle soup. Frided up some thinly sliced chicken in sesame oil with garlic, ginger splash of soy sauce, spices, mushrooms pepper and spring onions. Made the noodles separate with a chicken stock base and added the meat and veg at the end.

Quite yummy I have to say and rediciously quick to make.

I made the incredibly stupid mistake of going into a shop while hungry.

I ended up buying a box of honey nut loops

Now I did weigh out 30g and only ate the one portion but that box is going to taunt me for the next while. Silly billy.

    Cereal though <3

I'm all for healthy eating but also for not beating yourself up if you occasionally err. One box of sugary cereal every once in a while is grrraaand.

Had a soup from Pret a Manger, actually was quite nice. Red quinoa, peppers, sweet corn and a whole bunch of other vegetables. And half an egg mayo sandwich
