I'm so gutted finding out that one of the key reasons I ditched the iPhone for android, a radio, isn't on the bloody phone I've just spent a fortune on :(

How come my mother in laws €100 Samsung has a bloody radio but my S7 doesn't?

I presume you bought one in Ireland in which case there is nothing you can do. But on the off chance you have a US one, you can enable the radio.

Why not install a radio app like Tune In Radio or Irish Radio Player?

Issue is data connectivity on commute. No tangible difference between VF, 3 or Meteor (work phone is VF and have tried Meteor, Tesco Mobile and 3 in the last year).

Wtf are they removing the feature? See loads of people on the train in the morning using the FM radio app on their Galaxys.

Most radio programmes have podcasts now so you can just download them. I know very few people who listen to live radio on their phones. That being said i know what you mean when the "lesser" phones have built in fm it does seem odd the flagship doesn't have this feature. it's not something that personally bothers me though

So I got my S7 Edge from t-dimension about 3 months ago.

A few days ago I noticed a vertical pink line appear down the right hand side of the screen.

It has since gotten worse and is now about 4-5 pixels wide.

I'm just sending an email to t-dimension about it now so we'll see how good there customer support and warranty is...

Bit disappointing but I'm hoping they sort it.

Have the very same issue right now. Got in touch with Vodafone, need to return it to them for repair.

How long did it take to get yours repaired?

Got the S7 Edge yesterday I moved over from many years of having iphones. I am loving it so far but one thing I miss while on the internet is being able to swipe from the left to go back a page, swipe right to go forward and touch the top the screen to scroll right back to the top of the Web page I am on.

Does anyone know a good gestures app to download?

    Thanks

Never knew about the swipe left and right, the last iPhone I had was a 3GS but definitely the scroll to top is missed and I've heard others say so too

All in One Gestures is pretty good
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phoenixstudios.aiogestures&hl=en

Also I sometimes use Google Gesture Search for searching the phone

I installed the 350mb update this morning (Vodafone). I'll let you know if I spot any battery issues.

I did the update last night.
My phone was 100% at 6:15 this morning and by 10:45 it was 16%. Normally it should be around 80%

Did an update myself at the weekend, and yesterday the battery was at 45% 16 hours after being charged. Battery was perfectly fine.

Not sure if it makes any difference or not, but I always make sure the battery is at 100% and being charged as the update happens. Just a habit since the earliest android versions as I think it used to be advised when doing customised ROMs etc.

My phone's battery was fairly low when I did the update. Just plugged it in and let it update.
I have charged mine to 50% and restarted it. Hopefully that will fix it.

Yes this one - on Vodafone.

    I'm having similar numbers.

Just an addition to my update, my phone was sim free so not a vodafone or meteor initiated update.

Since I charged it again and restarted It, the battery seems a lot better.
Down 6% in an hour with heavy usage.
BTW my phone is the edge on Vodafone.

What software versions is everyone on? Is it still 6.0.1 or has it jumped to Nougat (i know vodafone probably wont have made the jump yet)

Still 6.0.1 - none of the networks have 7.x yet.

Just so everyone knows the battery drain issue isn't specific to the device or the update. It seems to be a problem with the Facebook app. I'm having the same problem all day on a Oneplus 3, as are many people on the Oneplus forum.

Uninstalling the Facebook and/or Messenger apps seems to solve the issue for now
