Beta program still saying it has reached limit and also server error, try again. Anything else i can do to download?

I have a Three Locked S7 Edge and was able to upload this firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/nougat-beta-g935fedge-password-links-t3497078 in odin with no bother. I then properly registered for the Beta version as I couldn't before (due to having Three firmware and my phone locked to Three) and now I'm getting the ota updates. I've received 3 so far.

I can't seem to get Google Voice set up to detect from any screen. Anyone else have this problem? It says my microphone isn't working and that I need to restart my device.

Thinking about jumping over to Samsung with an S7, Iv had a iPhone 3GS, 4S and a 6.

How reliable are they? Basically my 6 has been fine, but charging port is a little tricky and I now have to use loudspeaker on calls as the normal speaker is gone. Have it over 2 years, used daily. (And it gets hard use, Sometimes use the video camera when working on a car to see hidden screws/bolts... So grubby hands, Never in a case)

Will it be as quick in 2 years time as it was when first purchased?

    :)

Don't bother with a slim case might as well have none on it, went with a otterbox commuter on ebay from a crowd in Dublin for €20 delighted with it, ain't much bigger than the slim cases i tried

I got this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B019WUSCGW/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1481282692&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=poetic+s7+edge&dpPl=1&dpID=51aA0TbsF9L&ref=plSrch a few weeks ago and find it a perfect fit and less bulky than an otterbox.
I dropped it on the ice the morning after and it slid face down for two meters.
The case is a bit scratched but it saved the screen.

The symmetry cover is nice and svelte but i agree i hate to big rugged ones totally undoes the look of the phone

Hey guys, Samsung Galaxy S5 user here itching for an upgrade after two years. I'm looking at buying a new/well refurbished S7 edge or normal version, whats the best place to buy new at this point, is it still T-Dimension? A new model is around €518 here currently

I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this though:

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-sim-free-manufact-refurb-1-year-warranty-black-gold-418-with-2570548?p=29454103

Well either that or the non edge version which would be around €407 but is annoyingly only available in Gold

    Have you tried this

Switch off your Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge completely.
Boot into Galaxy S7 recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up, Home and Power keys at the same time.
Release all three buttons when Samsung Galaxy S7 screen flickers and you see a warning sign.

had to do that around 15 times, eventually got to the screen to flash via odin, but the phone had since forgotten to ask me to put in the pin at startup which I never disabled - so I wasn't able to flash without csc so lost everything and on setting up there was no most recent device as in "restore from last used 45 minutes ago" there was only the two previous installs I've had to do. :(

there's an OTA update now which I'm installing in the hopes it will sort me out

for the last couple of days it stopped asking me for the pin at startup and not doing the starting android wth the opening lock sign etc.. should have copped that if it borked again like it just did I would have lost everything again.

I usually go for mobilefun.co.uk as they have a wider range than the Irish site. Not sure if they have the lens case (available on ebay for import) but it's definitely worth picking up the car charger windscreen holder if you do much driving at all.

    Thanks. :)

Already have a holder on the dash (3d printed) so will look at a charger to go with it.

My new employer is giving me 400 towards a new work phone which I would like to be dual sim. It must be bought here in Switzerland and the choice is a bit limited.

Options are S7 duos for 629chf
    One Plus 3 for 479chf
    P9 for 539chf
    LG G5 549chf
    Honor 8 400chf

What would you choose? Is the S7 worth the premium?

Have had a HTC One M8 for the last ~20 months. Nice enough, but found it a bit buggy in general, and now battery life has gone to **** and the rear camera is dead.
So looking at the S7 as a next step, but pretty pricey even on an upgrade. Thinking about buying something to tide me over (a cheaper Samsung maybe) and then getting an S7 cheaper when the S8 is launched. Have Samsung prices typically dropped like this, or do they tend to do an Apple on it?

Camera is important, and just generally solid and snappy. The fingerprint sensor in my Mate S is lightning fast and I think the S7 will be a bit slower but with a better camera.

The next question is....silver, black or gold for the S7? :o

My mate has a P9 and I honestly think his camera takes better shots than my S7. I don't like the user interface on the P9 though so I'd much prefer the S7 in that regard. Fingerprint scanner is ok but I find it can misread a lot if you're hands are any bit dirty, I work with tractors so they're regularly dirty! Overall though still a great phone and not much I'd change about it.
