    In the 60s and 70s, a series of "Gendarme" films were made in France (5 in total i think)... starring the legendary Louis de Funès. They're great for car spotting, mostly french cars but a few nice american ones as well...

    In one of them. the vilains drove a red mustang convertible on a belgian reg :D

    I beleive it was based on a 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark 3, it looks so evil.

    Around 1:20 a couple of classic Lotus' turn up. An Esprit and an Eclat Excel by my reckoning. Looks like the wedge is back as the shape of the future!
