yea, it worked fine on my m7. just a pain really.

Am also a nerd, but wouldn't pay for HTC cables. Never has one lasted the length of my ownership (generally 12 months). I use cables a lot, though.

I would try tweeting HTC Ireland and HTC UK. They might be able to sort you out.

I used to be able to get it to work using a technique posted here, but now I can't get it to work at all.

Really needed it the other day, was stuck in town and needed a bus but couldn't top up.

So do you think it is a HTC issue with the NFC or could it be an app specific problem?

The crowd that do the leap cards say its a htc issue

    https://about.leapcard.ie/leap-top-up-app

Users of HTC devices may experience issues using NFC. This is a device specific issue. While the App will work on HTC devices, connectivity issues with such devices have been observed. This issue is outside the control of the National Transport Authority. - See more at: https://about.leapcard.ie/leap-top-up-app#sthash.ee0DCw5A.dpuf

For the people that ordered from the UK site. Mine arrived at the secure location this morning which I'm presuming means there's hope for having this in my parcel motel in cork by tomorrow?

I filled out the form on the PM website in case it's missing my PMID just to be sure.

I'm in Dublin, and had mine by 9pm in the evening after arriving in the North early that morning. That's the case for me about 80% of the time with Parcel Motel.

Cool! Usually it arrives early the following morning down south so might grab it on the way to work tomorrow. Definitely won't camp out in the topaz station. Well almost definitely:pac:

Try a long press on the date in the pull-down. Sounds like you've switched to quick launch.

I did an update a good few days ago, maybe weeks now. I turn my phone off every single night.

This morning when I turned it on, I am getting a totally new set up, ding tones, colour scheme etc...... :( WTF happened???

Who knows. Your HTC theme has changed, for whatever reason. An update wouldn't do that.

Just to to Settings > Personalize > Theme and go back to default, or whatever you had.

Just picked up one of these.Have to say one of the best phones Ive ever owned.
Compared to the galaxys Id have to say its the better phone. Id hate to drop a s7/edge but I reckon the Htc 10 could take a lot of abuse. It feels better built and is so much faster than the Huawei P8 that I had up till Thursday.
Just need to get a decent screen protector for it now.Anyone got a recommendation.Ive a spigen rugged case on the way from Amazon so that will keep it nice and safe!!

I have an orzly tempered glass on mine and I can't fault it. Certainly better than the ones for the OP3 and S7 that I've used. Seems to me that it's a fraction of a mm away from where the case surround would be so avoids any issues.

I had an orzly case and it didn't fit right, the HTC cover thing is annoying so I've settled on an Incipio Octane case now. Solid, feels nice to hold and no issues with the screen protector.

Am hoping to pick up one of these in the next couple of weeks, one thing that I can't find is an otter box like case for it.
Loads of cheap covers available but am looking for a decent all around one to protect it.
Is the ice view case that htc sell any use?
Would that do a decent job of protecting it?

I have the supcase ubpro on my m8, and find it great.. No damage from several heavy falls so far..
It's available for the 10 also..
There's another supcase also but I prefer the UB (Unicorn Beetle) Pro version

Thanks for that, never heard of supcase before.
Just checked their website and it looks like they only do one case for the 10 but it is exactly what I am after. Cheers

Spigen rugged is perfect. Have a tempered glass screen protector on it also. Cracking machine.

Hi is the tempered glass pretty much invisible? I have a spidgen screen Protector on mine with one on back and rhinoshield bumper.. Pretty good combination... If the tempered glass is good I'd like to try it.. My phone is white version with gold back... Couldn't be happier with the actual phone itself

It's got the little dots on it but it cant be seen when the screen is on. It does mean the home button is a little recessed though. I've got the silver back with the white front and it's a pretty much the same colour white.

Thanks probably tricky but would you have another device you could take a picture of it fitted an link to it here?
    Cheers,

Is it hard to apply the tempered glass protectors?

Very easy, clean the screen, line it up and drop it on.
