BikeSnobNYC had a loan of a Budnitz in 2012 and found that its bottom bracket creaked and brakes howled.

Still it looks nice, and I suppose the Images of Beauty thread shouldn't concern itself with matters so mundane as whether stuff actually works.

Some smashing looking bikes down at Rás na mBan. Almost exclusively Ultegra actually, and a lot of them Di2. Anyway I took some pics.

No airbrushed, molly cuddled, garage Queens here. All hard working hard ridden, race bikes! And all the cooler for it.

Never heard of Wishbone before. A certain Boardsie should get himself a new wheelset. They're based in Taiwan apparently

    Nor I.
Judging by those photos, there must have been a bulk purchase of them.

I meant the bit about the bidon.

Plus, if I owned that bike, it would never be placed against rough concrete like that.

NO it's not an ideal image of beauty. What makes this beautiful to me is the fact that it is new and has not been ridden yet. I took delivery of it and did the basic assembly and set it up myself. So I took a snap shot of it while it's still an urban virgin. Hope that explains why this non thoroughbred is thrown in here.

I've had one of those for years and it's probably the best all round use and abuse do anything bike I have. Never given any trouble or had a puncture on it. It's also great for attaching panniers and child seats.

    Well wear.

PS I think you have the bar upside down/back to front ;)

I have one of those, I use it for cycling with the kids and to the shots etc.. Good luck with it!

    Specialized-Allez-DSW-SL-feature.jpg

This is an interesting bike, a high end aluminium frame designed for racing and under 7kg (with Sram eTap). Nice to see some design development in alu.........

New addition to the fleet, so of course it's beautiful.

Even matches me club gear :)

Swift change of photo there. The previous skanky prefab background was in stark contrast to the swanky lake one above.
