For those who bought off T-Dimension did you pay in Euro or Sterling? Imagine it goes through as Sterling on your card anyway, the Sterling price is cheaper than the Euro equivalent.

I still have the same screen protector from day one, and a spigen cover on it. i cant stand the look of the 3 corners are a bit lifted cos of the cover but i rather look at that then any scratches.

do miss the clean look from a nice tampered glass and a cover just like the S6 had.

Have my S7 edge since may this year and noticed some dead pixels/small defects in the display , I have always been super careful with the phone itself, been housed in strong cover and screen protector so surprised that theres broken pixels. I called samsung and they taking it in for repair. Anyone had this experience? Otherwise very happy with the phone

same here Pat , tiny tiny defect but still distracting in the middle of the screen, how long was yours away for repair? Did it get collected by courier to go to the UK?

Hi all, please forgive me for not going back 154 pages, I have had a quick scan over the last number of pages but my question is regarding the s7 edge and the OP3.

Three have it for €670 with the ability to get a free gear vr2 from Samsung. With the OP3 retailing for 400€, is the extra €270 worth it? (The main things to me are display/camera/battery/warranty - edge comes with 2yr warranty.)

From those who own the s7 edge, does the edge really increase the chances of breaking the phone/display even with a case if it is dropped?

Hey guys not sure if this is the right place but hopefully someone can help. So I got an s7 edge about a month ago and it was working perfectly. In the last few days though it's gotten extremely slow. Opening apps, browsing the web everything is taking ages to do. All my other devices work perfectly so it's hardly an issue with the wifi.

Just hoping someone could give me an idea of what might be wrong.
    Thanks

I'm generally careful with my phones, I've never broken a screen or even scratched one in all the years I'm using touch screen, but I am wary of dropping the edge. Is there much in the difference between the S7 and he edge bar the screen?

Am on vodafone and have to disable word, excel, powerpoint, one note, one drive, play music, play movies, svoice and samsung gear. I dont use these so I consider it bloat. Only app i cant disable is vf's awful start app which is used for vf protect and other rubbish. But at least it doesn't auto update.

If I get my s7 unlocked in order to flash latest btu firmware from sammobile, does that have less bloat ?

Am also on security patch level 1st August

Do many here have custom ROM's on their devices? If so what do ye think is the best, I've tried a few just looking for other people's opinions

Haven't looked into rooting yet. Have it unlocked and btu firmware installed. I think rooting could trip knox unless you get a special bootloader.

Did my upgrade yesterday and got an iPhone 7. Less then 24 hours later I sold it on Adverts. Don't mind iOS, and it was very smooth, great camera, lovely bright screen. Excellent build quality as usual. But the new haptic feedback home button is terrible. Didn't care for it at all. Also I just could not get used to the tiny 4.7" 750p screen. That was the deal breaker. I thought it would be ok as the Plus variant is just too big. But holding the Edge in the other hand, just felt miles better. Amoled is noticeably more vivid.

So if anyone is thinking of moving to the 7 or 7 plus. My advice is don't unless you want a break from Android.

Could anyone recommend a wired HDMI adapter for the s7 edge. i use the chromecast for some apps and smart tv for others but a wired connection would come in handy thanks

Was riddled with this issue yesterday....

    https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS7/comments/55280e/overheating_and_draining_battery/

Oculus sent out a bad update making the phone loop the install.

Ah that explains a lot. My phone went from 60% to dead while in the cinema last night. Thanks for letting me know.

Since yesterday I can't use fb on my s7. I post something or post a comment and I get "unfortunately Facebook has stopped". The comment posts and the allspice then crashes.

I tried uninstalling and installing an older version. Same results.

State of the art phone and I can't even use Facebook :(

I had that happen yesterday on 2 phones and a tablet. seemed to be a dodgy 360 photo.[/quote]

I never used the 360 photo thing before. I'm at a loss as how to solve it.

Google searches just brought up suggestions that I've already tried.

Phone (S7 edge) slipped out of my hands today, I managed to get my foot in the way, it hit my foot, and from there on to the ground - I was surprised to see that the glass is shattered in the corner (on the edge) and cracking across the entire screen

I would have thought it'd be able to take a bigger fall than that.

The phone is only a month old - do I have any options??

So lost my S6 over the weekend after about a year of trouble free ownership. Battery is gone dead so haven't been able to get a location fix on it. Thinking of going for the S7 if it doesn't turn up. Any good deals on the Titanium Silver standard s7, unlocked preferably?

have issues with my 4 month old s7 edge, dead pixels constantly on the screen and the battery doesn't last 3 hours from full charge. i didn't realise how hard it is to through to someone in samsung ireland uk, one hour on hold today and got cut off when a support agent picked the call. Soooooo frustrating
