England & Wales definitely looking like getting a 30c sometime next week with high 20s many days after Tuesday whilst here in Ireland and Scotland, looking rather average or cool with unsettled weather. Very typical **** weather.

Torrential rain with severe gusts here in West Clare, flooding likely if it lasts long, Sky TV gone. Didn't expect it looking at the radar.

Yeah it's hard to pick which Summer was better between 2015 and 2016. Summer 2015's downfall was its cold nature and is the second coldest Summer of this century so far after 2011. Summer 2016's downfall has been its dull nature. I think I'll have to go with 2016 because I prefer warm days over cold days even if 2015 was sunnier.

this morning is as bad as it gets for summer. Looks like a bad day in October/November.

Some very heavy rain here this morning, in south Laois, as that low passed over. Aside from the odd day here and there this summer has been very disappointing:(

Rain set to come ashore early tomorrow morning as a warm front in the SW and spread up through the country during the day.

..... even on a day as bad as this the Phoenix Park can manage to hit 20c and D airport 19c.

hit 20C here earlier, the only good thing about this summer has been the temperatures. Most days since end of May have been 20C+ here, rarely has daytime dropped below 18C, except on wet days or the odd cool day.

Considering the forecast it's a grand day in Dublin. I'm sure there's more rain to come but overall it's been mostly dry so far. I'd love a proper wet day.

Much dryer than I expected so far today.
    All is good.
