It must be so tempting to just burst into a sprint

Slow motion of them going around the corners showed them running...lol

Judges don't use any video clips.

It's a weird sport. But I guess it demonstrates discipline!

One for the hardcore fans or purists I think. Long distance events can be tough watch for long periods but at least with marathon or cycling you get to see a bit of the city/country. These guys are just going up and down the same street.

Not for me but I'm sure the last few kms will be worth a watch

    Sweden win on pens

Solo had to change gloves before last pen...new pair didnt help her...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 489 ✭✭R00ster

Sweden win despite a shameful bit of gamesmanship by Solo. Decided she needed to change her gloves before Sweden took the winning penalty

Judging by Solo's previous with her ex I'm surprised she didn't put on boxing gloves!!!

Delighted the Swede held her nerve and sent them packing

The Egyptians taking after the Lebanese as text book examples of how NOT to behave in an Olympics but both would be right up there contesting the medals in the stupidest **** competition.

Well, everyone on the inside of the track needs credentials to be there, and those folks did appear to be wearing IDs and official clothes. There was no malice evident, it just appears to be a "break the tape" stunt gone wrong. It was after the finish line, no impact on the result, but amateurish is the right word in my opinion.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

What you get up to in privacy of your own home is none of my business ;)

All the boring events on tonight. Sailing not exactly spectator friendly either
