The way I see it, both parties took their eye of the ball on the biggest stage of all. Immersing themselves in social media interaction when they should have been entirely focused on an event that comes around once every four years. And they both ultimately failed

yep, definitely got knocked out as he sent a tweet a few days before

in post 181 in rugby forum rio thread i call them team gb .

admittedly i call them england a few times after that.

I've subsequently seen you pulling me up on it at 1029pm in post 349.

i don't see the "several" times I've been called on it. correct me if I'm wrong.

the " i wrote team GB " i was referring to was in this thread.

as a lateral aside. the sacred cow o donovan brothers in their interview after second last race joked that " with the year thats in it its great to beat britain".
wales and scotland were anti brexit , so they are ****ting on the other two nations or like me did they make an admittedly natural mistake in confusing the GB team with england inc.

if they can be forgiven , than so should I.

the driving on other side of the road remark was a figure of speech tied into filthy lucre being acquired by poached players and a slip that has cost me my credibility to this day.

the sheep shagging championships are uncharictaristiclly on in horowhenua kapiti this year FYI
    :D

    i dont understand.

    i was called a liar.

i have replied to the poster.

now you are taking a shot at me?

    why?

i never referred to you or your personality. I've already been called a sheep shagger by another poster and haven't responded.

    why the personal attacks?

when the wagons get circled you guys don't seem to play fair. very unbecoming.

just the aura your posts give off!

Making them stand out by putting three or four spaces between every sentence is clogging up the thread. There is no need for it.

    anyway, lets leave it there.

I love playing badminton, but as a spectator sport it just doesn't do it for me.

Agreed. For those that play it , you would realise how impressive those shots are and the sheer athleticism on show.

A bit of maths: a 14 seconds improvement on the old 10,000m record (29:31) is an improvement of just under 0.8%. Imagine the same thing happening in 100m: a 0.8 improvement on 10 seconds would be 8/100 seconds, which is not all that much.

"14 seconds!" sounds amazing, but over a 30 minute race, if you do the maths, there's no call to be accusing her of anything, in my opinion.

In the second 5k of the race she also beat the existing 5000m Olympic record. After already running 5000m.

Don't you mean whiff whaff? :) Yeah I saw some last night.

I saw a piece this morning about a Polish player, Natalie Partyka who was born without a right hand and is competing in both the Paralympics and Olympics. Hope she does well.

Feather shuttles get damaged very easily especially with shots like smashes.

Disgrace. If she was smarter she would've paced herself. Going to be under some amount of scrutiny now
