My first impression of hughie , was that he is the type of person that blares loud music on public transport on his phone and screams abuse at anyone who tells him to turn it down. "How am I affecting you, its none of your business what I do, its a free country" etc.

The more I see of him, the more I respect him just a little bit. He seems to be all about morals and principles, the way he went after Jason because of Ryan's eviction, and Alex because he chose to be rich, and Jackson for laughing at him. He hates being silenced or spoken over, and doesn't take what he sees as disrespect. He has good intentions but comes across argumentative.

Finally caught up with the show and thread after 3 weeks and 150 pages..

Even though Hughie's reactions are slightly OTT, I think he's a lot more genuine than Jason and Andy and I hope he wins.

If Jason hadn't said what he said about Ryan on live TV, then BB wouldn't have had to go back on previous video the following day to show what Jason was talking about.

I have never felt so sorry for a housemate as I do for Jason right now.

I wish he could pull himself up out of the funk. I know some people will say he deserves to feel as he does but I don't agree. I think - and I hope I am not wrong - that he has been honest and decent, as far as is possible.

I also think it shows a kindness in Andy. He knows that Hughie has had a tough few days and is missing his right hand man so thought would help make things a bit better by choosing him and also by doing so apologising for hitting him with a fish!

I love the new Andy too. Just coz he is smart doesn't mean he can't have a bit of a laugh so it is great to see this side of him.
