Okay, this is one of those overflow from irc type threads...

What events do you think would feature in the boards.ie olympics?

    Some examples already include:

    'slouching'
    'discus (with cd's)'
    'the fapathon 500'
    'the google sprint'
    'Adobe Acrobat'

I appear not to have read the original post correctly which is why all my previous -athons relate to IRC.

    The Off-topicathon
Athletes compete to divert the thread into something completely different.

    The Hidden Meaning-athon
Athletes compete to include the most amount of embeded snide comments about others in seemingly innocent statements.

    The Trollathon
A related event to the above, except this time the goal is to get the most people to fall for the stupidest reasons.

    The Rantathon
A long distance event, athletes simply go for the burn and fill up a thread with posts broken into parts due to the limitations of Boards.

    The Sig Steeple Chase
Athletes compete to create the biggest sig

    The Power trip athon
Athletes compete using blackmail, bribery and sexual favours to gain control of the most boards.

    The Athonathon
Athletes compete to come up with the most amount of athons.

    The Athlonathon
Athletes compete to try and justify why the AMD Athlon cpu is still superior to the P4.

    The Athloneathon
    Athletes run to Athlone.

Should we not have an event related to the Atari Jaguar.

    The Long Distance Whinge
"cant we have that on every page as well as the front page, my atrophied muscles cant make *TWO* clicks in a row".

    The Triple Jump-to-conclusion
Extra points for style if the conclusion is *completely* wrong and the poster admits to not having read the first post.

    Synchronised Flaming
A team sport this time. One clique or group coordinates a howling attack on one poor poster who says something out of line.

    DeV.
