Ive seen a few of these on video on amazon etc.. but i would prefer to get them on dvd... anyone ever see them anywhere? or any collectors out there?

V - what a classic! I used to love that show!! I friend of mine has the final battle on DVD as well, but I've yet to see the complete series available.

Class show. The two 'mini series' sets are definetly worth buying but 'series 2' isn't out yet and in my opinion that's hardly bad news eihter.

Regarding the 19(?) part second series I used to love staying up late (as 11pm for a kid could be defined) to watch it Monday nights on UTV back in 1986(?) but I saw the series again a few years ago and the ep's just don't hold up to scrutiny anymore.

In fact it was such a sloppily produced cash-in of a show that it actually got axed before they could even conclude the season. Not too many shows get that dubious honour!

Anyway, my advice is to enjoy your 'mini series' DVD's and just pretend that the second series was never made. :)

I remember ppl in school talking about it but I wasn't allowed to watch it cos it would give me nightmares but I begged to be allowed to watch a bit so I wouldn't be left out in school and yes of course it gave me nightmares so I wasn't allowed watch it anymore. My childhood nightmares included a lot of walking about. Damn those face peeling nasties!

True. I think there were 1 (or maybe 2) episodes left to be made. The scripts of which are available somewhere on the web. I read the last one a couple of years ago. (yes, I am that sad! lol)

The first 2 mini series where excellent , you cant say they look crap now , in my opinion they still look class , those original episodes cost in excess of 1 million dollars each to make.

The 2nd series used alot of the same special effects as it didnt have the budget to make new ones , also i loved the way the mini series where a coninuing story , there wasnt much continuity to the 2nd series and they lost there cool alien voice (thats how cheap they had to go) but i still liked it ! I had a bit of a thing for Diana ! NYOM !
