Angel + Buffy? wts?

Ok, was any1 watching buffy last night. the 1 where

she defeats caleb and Angel comes in just at the nick of time
well how can this be. it was fine for willow because they accounted for it in buffy and angel, but going by the time line of each corresponding episode. shouldn't david be in a sewar running from all the jasminites, not in sunnydale? only thing i can guess is that buffy is having bigger gaps between episodes with each break in the current story/cliffhanger and last nights episode of buffy was well after what is happening in angel at the moment. so to conclude, it kind of spoils it for us because we know that angel is going to survive. unless its his ghost, lol.

btw 2 class series' thursday will never be the same again when buffster has gone and angel's series ends. Waaahahaaha. *sniff*

AFAIK in the US Angel started a week before Buffy, and Joss et al had everything planned out so that the cross-overs should work, but because they have gaps of couple of weeks between eps over there things got messed up.

Now when it came to Sky they started Buffy the week before Angel (afair anyway), so Buffy was ahead of Angel, when it should have been behind.
