    Anyone know anything about Getting a Us working visa for a few months. anyone have any experience with this?

    Depends on your 'status'

    As a third-level student you can apply for a J1 or Internship visa.

    J1 is more flexible as you do not need to secure work before going but has a maximum stay of 4 months.

    Intership allows a maximum 18 month stay but I believe you must organize employment before arriving. It is also open to graduates.

    H1-B is an employer sponsored visa issued once for a maximum stay of 3 years, it can be extended once.
