Can anyone tell me anything about the "Free Medical Advice Clinics" as mentioned in the "sticky topic" above by DeVore?

Are these only available to someone who has a medical card? And/or how do they differ from just going to a regular GP?

    Thank you!

Well, the medical card is the obvious one.
But as far as I can remember, theres a student health centre on the second floor of the admin building in UCD, with a GP on duty at certain times for appointments. That used be free of charge to UCD students, whether it is now, I don't know.
I'm sure theres similar in other colleges.

If it's an emergency, go to A&E.
