hey, i was currently trying to figure out how to manipulate a photo into a cyborg, i was reading through a tutorial on Worth1000.com and i am stuck at a part,
    http://www.worth1000.com/tutorial.asp?sid=161011&page=5
i cant seem to get the seams working .

By hard bursh does he mean the anchor pen ?
"I copied a part of the original Catherine image into a new layer"
is he talking about the original image or the lines made.

Thanks alot. The tutorial is worth a look by the way.

Yea use the Path Tool, then apply a hard brush-stroke to it, i.e. a non-feathered brush, a brush with a hard, distinguished line.

"I copied a part of the original Catherine image into a new layer"

I assume he selected part of the image using the marquee tool, copied it and pasted it onto a new layer so as to preserve the original (background) image.
