Cavan is North Dublin outside of North Dublin.With a slowly climbing heroin problem and ull of peeps who would threaten to"break yer face"and whos main weekend activity is travelling to the springs disco to fight with the even worse people of Granard in Longford.Granard is full of settled travellers who venture into cavan at the weekend for rows.And shams of about 8 yers old from the local halt who follow people from outside the cinema into the public toilet and start tapping their pockets while your pissing after previously having asked you for 5 cents and then get mental when they hear the jingle of cash in your pocket.I jocked(or wedgied,depending where you live)one of them who tried this.
And theres nobody in the area who doesnt know local notorious dude Red Terry.
But TBF some skangers are sound enough.True some will rob your phone if you take your eyes offn it but there are a substantial number of them who arent all that bad.

As for anywhere else,North west Dublin(Tallaght,Blanchardstown,Finglas,Ballymun)the inner city,Dundalk and Navan seem to be pretty sham infested.

Bray is deinantly no1 choice for skanger day trippers... I used to work in a busy pub on the seafront in bray (that brewed there own beers ahem) & I would be nearly in tears if it was a sunny sunday afternoon, they were like ants infesting assimilating ordinary folk

Galway is infested with the ****s. A friend of mine broke one of their noses when he threw stones at his brother in eyre square, it was well funny, his face was covered in blood. None of us have been touched by any skangers since then. I think a few of the guys that came up to us that day are going to court for harrassing us, hehe

I moved to bray nearly two months ago and I have to say it doesn't seem as bad as some of you say! Does it get worse as the weather improves?? Is there a mass invasion or what? not much to do in bray really so I don't see why it would be that popular, unless you got a slot machine addiction, it is the las vegas of ireland i suppose:p

dominic street, parnell square, dorset street etc.. had to walk through here a few times, never the most enjoyful experience..

i used to stay down crumlin way which was really bad for it aswell though, prolly cause i used to stay right next to a swing park where most of them hung out

surburban "skangers" are, in most cases harmless imho.

As a resident of waterford, yes,our skanger society is absolutly horrible. Theres a divide here between culchies and skangers .. some skangers are alright though,I know one of em who put my cam up her skirt and took a picture and handed the cam back to me.

Either Bray, Finglas or Courtown in Wexford - which is full of horrid little inbred web-toed Dublin scangers on their holidays. Tallaght has certainly improved since I was growing up there. When I was a kid there, any guy with hair longer than three inches took their life into their hands every time they left the house, but goth and nu-metal kids seem to be giving the scangers a run for their money now.

amazin to waterford not gettin much of a mention. st. herblain, kilcohan and ballybeg are the biggest sh*tholes there. god help you if ya wander in there on a lonely night. spose its not as bad as a lot of places.

tramore has a small few but most of em are fairly sound. its the feckin dubs that invade in the summer. tramore seems to be the other las vegas of ireland! bit of gang warfare goin on between the goths and skangers there tho.

hey all.....every place in ireland has its good parts and its bad parts!!! in a lot of places tho the bad outnumber the good!!!! i live in tallaght (thankfully what you would call a "good" part, although at this stage theyre all blending into the same kip!!!)
no matter where you look you are guaranteed to see some little geebag with gold earrings down to her ankles and some twat with a baseball cap (assumed to the correct fighting angle!!!! 90 degrees (peak pointing to the sky!!)) and youre gonna hear...smelly rocker, save the whales, im gonna ****ing kill you you prick!!!
