Im just wondering about phone line quality.

I always connect to the at between 50kbps and 52kbps where as most ppl I know woul be lower.

Does this mean that I connected to RADSL would it maintain a high bandwith rather than dropping down around 256k?

In short no, it seems at the moment that it's all about contention levels really although in a very small way phone lines problems could still present a problem.
