The financial implications of the re-negotiated deal were not disclosed.

Pity! I'd like to know how it was renegotiated! Will RTE cough up to show games or do they expect them for next to nothing?

Yes they will I have no doubt. Now that they have to deal with Fran Rooney things will be a little tougher for RTE/TV3

RTE will get the rights. They get their best viewing figures and charge top advertising rates.

I hope Fran and co hang tough in the negotiations
    and get a decent price.

If RTÉ do get the rights, will TV3 still have delayed rights? Or even if they still do, will they even bother showing delayed coverage?
