Hey guys what type of clubs do you use?

I use old Ping(they were the best about 7 years ago :) )

Anyone ever tried Taylor Made clubs? I was arseing about with a few of them at my local golf course and fúck are they nice. The price isn't though. :(

I have a set of Ram FX forged irons, firm shafts... I got the 2-SW and also got a Tom Watson 60° wedge which has been great from close-in & in bunkers etc...
I have a callaway driver, a taylor made 3 wood with a steel shaft and an old ping wooden 5 wood, all with firm shafts.

After being in the golfing wilderness for a few years, I got some shock to see the prices of new gear lately... ouchy.

The ping 5 wood is in need of some repair so I got myself a new Cobra one which is pretty slick I must say. I like the 5 wood out of light rough and for 2nd shots to par fives and stuff. I was never much of a long iron player though I am improving...

Also, the 60° Watson wedge has almost worn away over time so I treated myself to a new Cleveland model.
A Taylor Made driver may become available 2nd hand soon so I might be investing in that... (it's hard to get good lefty clubs 2nd hand).

With the price of iron sets at about €1k, I'd say you'd have to get them customised down to the last detail...

Right, lets see if I can remember them correctly, haven't played golf in 3 years due to wear and tear on my back........:(

    Irons - Titleist DCI's 3-SW.

    Driver-Ping TISI 10.5

Fairway woods - Taylor Made Burner Bubble 3-5 woods.

    Putter- Ping Isopur

( Played with Maxfli Revolution balls)

I went through many a driver in my day, Taylormade, Callaway, Cobra, but finally setteled for the Ping which was a sweet club and a joy to hit.

All the above where custom fit which in my opinion is well worth the money if you serious enough about the game.

Oh how I miss the game.....but will I ever play again????? probablty not, unless someone comes up with a spare parts shop for discs and spines :)
