Ok first off heres my spec

    Dell P3 1gig 512mb ram, geforce 2 mx 400 32mb.

    hard disks:
    C: 40gb NTFS
    E: 20gb NTFS
    F: 6gb FAT32.

I have xp pro installed on c:\ working fine. I want to install nt 4.0 on mabye the f: drive and have the option to boot either operating system.

What is needed, I take it that I need a boot loader. Is it just a case of installing nt 4.0 on the f: drive, activating the boot loader and away I go.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Chief.

widows has its own boot oader so you shouldnt need one. Windows should pick up the two OS and boot away happily.

You can change the settings for booting up in XP by right clicking my computer and selecting advanced tab and startup and recovery.
