Just to say I just got home now from stewarding at the Waterford United and Shamrock Rovers game and I have to say I'm dissapointed with the actions of "some" rovers supporters. Just coz a game didnt go your way doesn't give you a right to spit on Waterford United supporters and shout obscenities at them. From all the crowds that came to the RSC this season and before, this had to be the worst behaved crowd we dealt with in the past 4-5 years.

Great atmosphere and better nite coz we beat ye 2-0.

    COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Typical behaviour of Dubs when in the Decies, you only have to visit Tramore on the August Bank Holiday weekend...

Good result, what was that about Waterford Utd being the whipping boys this season?

    Mike.

Just got home from it myself, the end was fantastic when we all ran out on the pitch screaming "UNITED!!", got Alan Reilly's pic n'all..wan me.. and yes,I shook hands with O'Shea at half time.

Woo hoo. You shook hands with O'Shea lol. I played with him years ago. Also met him out a few times and was talking to him and his g/f. Sound bloke and should've been PFA young player of the year.

I have been to away games with Pats and in Cork we got spit on by the Cork fans.

I don't condon the Rovers fans but have you had any Dublin Teams visiting the RSC in the past 5 years as most Dublin teams are in the premier division which Waterford have only just joined?

In Richmond Park the country fans were never the best either when they bothered to travel!

Spitting, wow thats bad. Lets face it, if you think spitting is as bad as it gets then you haven't seen Rovers in action. The worst ground for trouble in the league is Turners Cross. By a mile.
