I am currently looking for some summer work only. My question is should i apply to those jobs stating that they want someone on a permanent/full-time basis? i have seen lots of jobs on-line that i could do, just that they are all looking for someone on a permanent/full-time basis. Should i let this put me off from applying, or should i apply anyway knowing i will only be working for the summer.

    Just go for it..
I know people who have done it for years.. the company rarely ever sues if you break a contract because it costs them too much.. Tell them you are taking a year out from college and in october tell them you decided to go back..
