a friend of mine has this problem.

when she selects text in word and uses the backspace key to delete , word only deletes one letter at a time instead of the whole block of text.

i have tried many settings change in my word and cant replicate the problem.

    Thanks Guys.

I was actually contemplating asking about the same thing yesterday.

I think its only in office 2000 and higher.

In Office XP when you have a word selected and press the backspace it throws the cursor to the start of the word.

Did you get the hard drive yet. He won't be there between 1&2

Does the right click menu work when the word is selected?
