playing an mp3 at start up

    how can i play an mp3 file at start up instead of the default windows one , using win 2kpro?

    go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sounds and Multimedia

    afaia they have to be *.wav, but there are plenty of proggies to be had for that.

    there's a way to do it with Winamp
    Can't remember how but I remember it used to play every time I booted up and I didn't know how to un-set it.

    Winamp 2.8x anyway, not sure about that shoddy version 3 crap.

    Maybe its improved by now.
