I know there's a fair few Tick fans on boards, so I thought I'd bring this to your attention:

    THE TICK DVD

Fans who haven't gotten over the demise of the short-lived, live-action "Tick" TV show (me being one of them) now have a chance to bring back the big blue arachnid.

Sony Pictures and Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment are conducting a consumer poll to decide which TV shows to release on DVD. "The Tick" is a contender (along with 31 other hopefuls) for a full-season DVD release.

C2F urges all Tick fans to yell "Spooon" and then click over to the poll and stuff the ballot box with righteousness. (Yelling "Spoon" is optional).

It's only the live action series, but it's a start.

    That was so funny.

The cartoon is rather good, a bit serious and aimed at kids.

They've played one episode of the "live action series" on Tv3 and thats it. It was on 1.00am Wednesday night, like 2 weeks ago.

I think I'll look into buying the dvd.

The live action version was pretty terrible. I only saw a little bit of it, but it wasn't very good.
I wish they would just bring out the cartoon instead. Now that is good.

[edit]Having looked at that list, I'd much prefer to see Diff'rent Strokes on DVD. Now that was quality. "What chu talkin about Willis?":) [/edit]
