Uefa Cup places

    how places are there in the premiership for uefa cup places?

    If Liverpool qualify for the champs league will this give an extra place to the league?

    4 is the max places any country can have in champions league, and england already has 4...

    Liverpool are not going to qualify for champions league anyway :)

    5th and 6th go into UEFA cup AFAIK

    5th automatically goes in but as liverpool cannot finish out of the top 5 that means 6th will get their place no matter where they finish(4th or 5th). Arsenal are already in the champions League so Southampton take the UEFA cup place Arsenal would get if they won the FA cup.

    Man City also qualify for the Uefa cup under the Fair play rules. They all have their fingers crossed that the crowd will behave itself in the last match at maine road. Not sure if that match was last weekend or this one.

    It was Boro but they had a man sent off yesterday so I think city are clear now.
